Both teams will field the strongest sides they possibly can.

As I put on the reserve and academy thread I'm expecting three great games this weekend.

All three levels at both clubs are playing reasonably well at the moment..

Should be "fun"

The Wigan v HKR game was a bruiser and Wigan finished up with no available subs, so I'm expecting a couple of changes at least.

They will be going all out for this one without doubt.

It's no ggod putting all your eggs in one basket (the Cup), as if you lose that one game, then your season is then over if you have sacrificed league games.

We are only a couple of wins behind Wakefield, Cas and Hull, and we are in better form than all of those teams.

If we win on Friday, then we will be level with Wigan and have a game in hand over them.

I thought last Saturday's game, and this Friday's were crucial for us, they are make-or-break for our season IMO.

I can see Tony Smith taking us on an unbelievable journey in both the league and cup, lets not put ourselves under any pressure by making statements like the one above.

According to some comments on the Wigan website , Hock suffered a facial injury v Hull KR on Friday.

How could they tell ??

Because it made him look like Ben Westwood.

Hardly going over the top or putting ourselves under pressure by me making a statement like that.

Had we lost both of these tricky games, there would be a real risk that we could fade away, especially with the cup game and an away trip to Cas coming up.

I thought we showed enough character and grit on Saturday to show that we are up for it, and hopefully we will do the same again on Friday. I think the win the other day takes alittle bit of pressure off us this Friday.
