| I'm totally baffled. I've never seen a player try so hard to avoid being involved in games. Even Teitzel many years back and Josh Perry more recently for Saints showed something.
It's like anti-rugby. I've never seen a player play like this before.

| In his interviews he said his directive in the NRL was never to pass but to take the ball up and take the tackle with defenders on you. The objective being a quick play from acting hb creating the space in a tiring team.
?? perhaps but it doesn't sit well with us.
We have had a legacy of ball playing props. This is the first time we haven't and we don't approve.

As an outsider who only ever sees Warrington on TV, I would somewhat agree with you. I don't think I've ever seen him have a 'good' game. He's probably had decent games, but that's probably about it. I commented on a Hull forum thread during last night's game about how poor he looked.
On the flip side, my personal opinion is that once Peacock retires, you have the best prop forward in the league in Chris Hill. Hill did even make Peacock look ordinary last night, he played great. The worry for you guys is holding him. No doubt the NRL will come sniffing soon and he certainly wouldn't look out of place playing over there. But it does seem from hearing his interviews and just watching him play that he loves the club. How many more years is he signed for?

| 2018, pretty sure we gave him a massive extension (ooerr) just after the start of the world cup when he was the best English player not named Burgess

| I must say Chris Hill looks to be the complete prop.... he can pass ,break the line ,tackle ,side step & score tries with his fair turn of speed. I love watching him play .

Great idea Gaz. I read about the problems you are having, so I registered with my ntlworld email address. It's been accepted and I'm just waiting for an admin to OK my registration

Consensus amongst the Aussies I know is that he is well past his sell by date, but a club legend all the same.

| Well I think the number of disparaging remarks made about big Roy is shocking. You would think everybody on here was a world class coach. But what you are all missing is Smiths' ability to use players in different positions - the utility player who is effective at playing completely different roles. Hands up all those who thought Currie would start at centre last week ? Nobody. Bridge has moved seamlessly to half, Grix can come out of the pack into the back line, Mat King had fun moving in the other direction. This is what YOU are all missing, but nothing gets passed TS, and you will be laughing on the other side of your face when Asotasi is switched to probably his best position for the cc quarters at Odsal
- water carrier.
