| You just said in another post that you love the idea of flags so make your mind up.
You just summed the majority of our support in your post though so congratulations. People couldn't care less. And that's why the games are like a library

No I didn't, read it again and work out what comes after the word "don't"

I would say the majority of people couldn't care less about flags, thats what I said. If you think a sports stadium on a match day is like a library then you haven't been to many of them (libraries that is, in case you get the two mixed up).

Couldn't care less hey? You haven't got a clue.
May I suggest if you want drums and flags then Padgate Rec with the Green Lancers might be the place for you on Sunday afternoon.

| I don't have a clue? Not a clue about what? Supporting the team? There is a difference between a supporter and a spectator.
I suggest if you don't like flags, drums or Singing then you should stick Sky and put the T.V on mute.

| My take on this is i just enjoy people who have a passion for the club, i love the people who work with the youth like SEB, Walter, Roy.
People who research the club and its history like Teesside, those that go to the youth matches PY, Ganson's Op, the drummers the flag makers everyone who make the club more than the 80 minutes on game day.
We're all equally as important as each other and maybe some tolerance from all to each wouldn't go amiss.
Maybe a good idea for the club is actually finding out what the fans like, what experiences they love and hate.
Flags won't improve the atmosphere but they'd improve the identity of the fans and the love for the club, i can't see faults with some people just getting on and doing it, but it isn't some magic cure all treatment people are looking for, the colour will be better but it won't raise the volumes.
Maybe another idea rather than what flag shall we have is asking people what else do they want from the match day experienced, what do people feel it lacks and what do they think would remedy it.

| Yeah I get all of that. But the point is we don't go round telling them not to research or not go the youth games. but we are constantly told we are stupid, loud and annoying.
I find them stupid, quiet and annoying.
The point is i don't go round giving people abuse unless its given to me (or our group) first. So who would you say is in the wrong?
The second we started to make a bit of noise today there where 6 or 7 bouncers at rhe bottom staring up at us Luke we were hooligans. It's absolutely ridiculous. I wouldn't surprised if they were there because someone complained. Most probably the bloke in the Queensland polo telling us to shut the f**k up and watch the game, then spent 20 minutes with his back turned taljing to his mates. Tit head. Then had a go at us for singing w@nkey Warrington. Apparently you should never call your team w@nk. Bearing in mind we were 16-0 up, we said yeah its blatent sarcasm, he hurled more abuse and we just ignored him. And we're the bad ones, we're the d1ck heads are we? Some people need to get a grip.

| If I put my flags up for the home games does that mean I can't take them to away games?

A little suggestion my friend. If you achieve your aims and raise some cash for flags, I would strongly recommend that you use a designer that can spell reasonably well. Judging from the above post and several other recent ones, it could be very embarrassing if you do it yourself.
By the way, I am not stupid, I am certainly not quiet, but I can be very annoying.

I must admit, I saw the increased "security" in that part of the ground and figured out why. Whilst I can understand you might feel slightly irritated by that, it's to be expected to an extent.
As for people hurling abuse at you, couple of thoughtsdon't [/igo to the game to get drunk and sing songs, you're going to find it more difficult to get people on board with what you're trying to achieve.
- I stand near where you and your pals now congregate. I enjoyed some of the chanting, the one about Koukash buying Swinton was quite good. I'm no prude - I have no issue with the ironic winky winky song and accept that, if you go to a sports ground, there shall be swearing. However you are going to put people off when you sing songs about Coronation Street actors accused of serious crimes because they're based in the locale of the opposition. Appreciate it was one or two only, but it doesn't help.
Good luck with whatever co-ordinated efforts you're putting in place to improve the atmosphere - I'd just caution you against giving it the barry* too much too soon.

| When Spelling and grammar is brought into an arguments that's it. I'm out, if something was spelt wrong then there is no need to bring it up. There is no point what so ever as you will have been able to understand what I meant.

Not really, seeing as I fail to understand that post.
Others are right. If you want people to rally to your cause, then don't go upsetting them. By all means sing to your hearts content, but don't go singing offensive songs (apart from TF and the Wire, because it's my all time favourite and every word used to be true), because all that you will do is rub both friend and foe up the wrong way and attract the wrong type of people, which is exactly how the Brigantes thing at Wigan started to go down the pan after a promising beginning.
You should also be aware that you will be bound to have the stewards watching you. That's what they are there for. They don't get paid to watch the match, so don't get upset next time a woman with the face of a bulldog chewing a wasp gets upset at you. Just ignore her and eventually she'll stare at someone else.
Finally, although my point about spelling was meant to wind you up, it is quite appropriate. There's no point in spending a fair bit of money on something when the creator messes it up because he or she can't spell properly.

| I dont see the issue with someones grammar in a forum, if at the end of the day the flags will be done correctly. All the flags have been shown on here to show what ideas we have got. Look I didn't mean for this post to cause arguments between the fans, I just wanted to let people know what we are trying to do and get feedback knowing that we all views seriously and we are not going behind peoples' back on it.
The one thing i hate though is people assuming i have had a lot to drink to sing/chant/drum/shout or whatever. It's been mentioned a few times and it gets on my nerves as i drive to every single home game....
And finally for the record, i know drums are a common theme on here with people slating them... but there are actually only 2 songs we use that are started by the drum. Every other songs are all vocal and the drum is then used for timing. And yes people will like to comment about that 'we don't need a drum for timing' but i beg to differ as by the odd times our stadium all sing the drum definately helps.
