I'm gutted DP will be leaving us but some of our play the last few years has been dross. We were hugely spoiled In 2017 and never replaced Zak. I do think now we have Evalds we will have a good year if Trueman and Richardson stay fit. Powell at wire with the £ and facilities will flourish. Something he never really had at Cas as we don't have a great deal of £ and our facilities suck. |

Just a thought. Some coaches can do an admirable job without funds, but when they get the millions can't handle the ego's in the dressing room. i suppose a lot will depend on what influence any new coach has on who is signed.

Powell was given absolute power at Cas and thrived. Think too many cooks at Wire, and will not be a good fit. Wane worked at Wigan because he is so part of the town and ethos.....
I actually think Brian Mac would be best fit for you. He'd sort out some of the egos in the dressing room, and boardroom for that matter...

According to Karl Fitzpatrick we haven't decided on a shortlist of candidates yet. That could be BS though as could be Wane's supposed denial.
Personally I can't see it being Wane or Powell, more likely McDermott or another Aussie.
