Me too. I never saw the Rodwell incident but I did see a bunch of passionate supporters outside the players entrance protesting.
Think it is wrong to describe all those who protested as titheads.

Maybe your right.
I just think it's completely the wrong way to go about it. Have some class. Shouting and screaming abuse like some sort of animal never helped anyone achieve anything.

I don't disagree with you on the "shouting and screaming". I was more an observer rather than protagonist, as were a lot of people.
I also believe that the sit in against Cas last year hastened the departure of PC and that that was in the best interests of the club in the mid-long term.

Unfortunately, I witnessed the debacle both on and off the pitch.

| Quote: Geordie "Thats all I can remember, the sit in after the Huddersfield game when Peter Deakin came out and appologised.
There was a cafufal after the london game when some retards had a go at Mat Rodwell when his wife and kids where there.
Other than that I cant remember any booing at Wilderspool in recent times, in fact in 2002 when the club where in the mire financially and had the worst team on the park in years we experienced some of the best atmospheres.'"
I'm sorry Geordie, but, with respect, that is a load of nonsense. Even in 2003, the Wilderspool farewell year when everything was looking like we had a rosy future, the atmosphere was at times like a morgue. And on many occasions at Wilderspool the booing was very fierce. People allow nostalgia to fade their memories.

My take on it completely. We never expected anything in the last few years at Wilsderspool. Ever since we moved, it felt succcess should be immediate becuase we were in a shiny new environment. It is only over the past two to three years were I really thought we have under achieved. By that, I don't mean winning the CC or GF, but actually challenging for them.

| I've never understood this myth about the Wilderspool atmosphere. Few and far between was my memory, especially where I stood towards pondlife corner.
There was the odd game such as the semi v Widnes, but in the main, no different to the HJ on most matchdays.

Back to the late eighties when I started going every week.
There was one good thing about Wilderspool, at least you were warm when the sun came out, the South Stand should be renamed Ice Station Zebra.

| It is a myth that the atmosphere at Wilderspool was amazing every week. It was moribund plenty of times.
Fans were a bit more tolerant then though. Pre 2003, booing was reserved for despicable collapses of the lowest order, for a lack of effort and basically waltzing through games. Now, booing is deemed acceptable by some if Warrington concede a try or lose by 2 points to Salford. Who the [expletive deleted] do we think we are?
I understand the 'reasons' for this and I appreciate people feel they have a 'right' to boo but it really is very counterproductive. I'd like to see an 'us versus them' attitude developed between our club and the rest of the world. Not between ourselves.
