| Quote: just_browny "This is more or less how it's gone for Hull with their previous two coaches. A few early wins, a bit of optimism, followed by a 'horrendous injury list'. For a while Hull fans will blame said injury list for the ensuing defeats, looking forward to the golden moment at which the coach will have 'his own team' and everyone will be back fit. After a couple of seasons of this eventuality not looking imminent, they will eventually oversee the removal of the coach and praise the new Messiah.'"
It is horrendous. But we'll get back on the horse soon enough.

We've had it pretty bad for injuries this season so far yet not a lot is being made out of it.'"
Genuine question, because I really don't know: Have these injuries been long term or just one/two weeks out?

A mix of the two; the likes of Ratchford, Evans, Solomona, Myler, Harrison and Monaghan have all had long terms injuries of at least six weeks missing.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Ridiculous that he's blamed the RFL really. The fault is with the previous Hull administration who failed to offer him a decent contract. Leeds merely adhered to the rules. His argument should be with the people who were 'running' Hull before he was, one of whom just happened to be Mrs Hetherington.

Maybe. However it was misguided to use the Briscoe Tribunal as his vehicle for doing so. He should be professional and speak to the RFL about it, as he now appears to be doing when he meets Watkins.
Going back to Briscoe, the bad bit is where he said he implied that he knew they wouldn't get a fair crack of the whip. He's basically accusing them of being biased.

Let's face it. It's not the RFL who are at fault with this. It's Hull, or at least it's their previous Management. The rules are there in black and white and have been for years. If they offer the kid a contract that doesn't at least match the previous one, then he's a free agent.
There is a saying that you reap what you sew. I go back to 1999 when Hull fans were crowing about Kath Hetherington having saved them when she lied to Gateshead fans and then ditched them. How times change.

| Isn't Pearson the same guy who issued the statement saying that away fan's tickets prices at the KFC Stadium were the same this season as they were last season? He soon altered the statement when people posted last year's tickets on here proving him wrong.
This statement is what I would expect from a nursery school kid, its embarrassing coming from somebody in his position.
How small was the contract offer they made to the kid? He was sixteen at the time. Looks like Hull were just trying to do things on teh cheap and rip the kid off. Well done for Leeds for paying him the going rate and keeping his talent in rugby league.

Where is Red hall again?
Seriously though, Pearson seems to be fuming with our past management and how the club was ran on a whole. I believe he is the man to put us back in the right direction after the previous set of clowns.

Manu been with Hull for 6 years, obviously wants something different for his last contract. Wado gone back home after his wife did not settle and she moved back to Oz.
I expect another big overseas forward to come in as well as McKinnon's replacement, alongside Ellis, Arundel, Crookes, and maybe another half back. Another big change in staff for us, but Gentle is still in the process of building his own squad and picking up the pieces after the previous clowns in charge.
