The topic isn't about best imports, but people's favourites. Wire fans have a knack of idolising some pretty average players, but you can't stop people having their favourites. The very first post mentioned farrar, which i found laughable, but each to their own.

Which is why my list would include Toa and Nutley.

I think for what he did in a pretty poor side it's got to be.... Nat Wood for me.

He was just a warrior. Tough as nails, agile, could break the line frequently & popped up with try's. Loved him.

Me too, that's why I mentioned Toa. First time around, I thought he was brilliant to watch. Even the high tackles & all, it added to it for me, I used to gasp when he was within 10m of the ball with it in hand or not.

And why HE wouldn't be on my list. I know he was funny and all that, and a real trier, but I never really took to him.
