Was satisfied with the effort ....this has to be the new minimum and not a one off showing to placate the fans...attack showed some flair ... To be honest we didn't push it hard enough on the fringes where we had them for pace ... Defence thankfully was less passive... A much better performance. 1, definitely. And 1 possible try that was from a forward pass. About 4 decisions should have been different. That hurrell ball drops 5 metres from our try line being the biggest.

Side note from me. Man of the match.for me was Joe bullock. Some great hard yards gained in the second phase post collision. And matty Russell. What was it. Well over 100 metres ground out bringing the ball forward. Superb effort from all the youngsters last night.

I endorse the Joe bullock view... He has been getting much better over the last 12 months and shouldn't be ignored by the fans or the coaching staff for the effort he makes routinely

Has cut the errors out of his game as well. He's now our second best prop in my view.

Whilst I’m a big fan of Bullock, if you think he’s better than Vaughan then you’re very mistaken.

He's not far short of that measure but lots of people don't notice...if he was Australian ... He would get bigger wraps
