It's just funny. One of the clubs has produced one of the best young half backs in the world, the other has Declan Patton.

I wouldn't quite go that far, but Williams is a talent and I wish he was a Wire, without question.

IMO Zak will join either Wolves or Catalans as his preferred choice of clubs, Although his prospective new club will have to meet Gawwy's valuation first though

If no club pays the desired transfer fee then I believe that he will go out on loan for a season

I personally can't see Watkins leaving the Rhinos.But I suppose everyone has a price that is too hard to resist

£400K to buy out the remaining 2017/18/19 of his contract.

The only problem is we are not talking Castleford here, Leeds are the richest club in SL.
They turn over the biggest profits by a big margin.
We are far behind in second. £400k doesn't mean much to them if they don't have another centre.
They don't need to sell unless he wants a move.
So let's forget Kallam, he's not coming here sometime soon.

I don't for one minute expect Watkins to sign. However on the off chance that Watkins was desperate for the move, Leeds would be daft to not cash in on him. Especially when they are going to have some huge outgoings over the next few years with the redevelopment of the North & South stands.

So there are reasons, even for the most profitable club in SL, to sell one of their best assets. But as I say, I can't see it happening, I don't get the impression that Watkins is that desperate to get out of Leeds.

According to Bradford fans, Blythe has had a poor season in the Championship. I've only seen him three times, but would agree with their assessment, on the basis of those three games.

In order to run the reserves we need a core of players that are available each week (Daniel Murray, Sean Kenny, David Thompson, Jacque Peet etc in '16). These are then supplemented with a few U19's, 1st team players returning from injury or who do not have a game, and one or two from Rochdale. Matty will be 29 next year and I would expect him to play regularly in the reserves and only get the occasional game in the first team as and when we get an injury.

Matty Blythe will be 28 next season, I cannot believe he is a replacement for Atkins, not a super league quality player... if we have a starting centre partnership of Blythe and Evans there will be a mass exodus of wingers from our club, they don't have a rugby brain between them.

Williams best young half back in the world? He has a very limited passing and kicking game... he is a good ball runner, that's about it.

There are plenty of young halves in the NRL who make Williams look like an amateur.

No big deal... We don't play wingers anyway.

Ryan Atkins has had 2 perhaps nearer 3 poor seasons but this year our most improved player IMO and selected for the SL dream team.

With the right training set up as we have. He'll be okay. I'm not saying a world beater but good enough for us to be competitive and be able to spend more money in other areas.

Not many get into the dream team without playing well.

I know nothing has been officially announced, unless i've completely missed it? But randomly the wikepedia page for Dom Crosby now states he will play for us from next year after signing a 3 year deal. I've read the rumours but how accurate can wikepedia really be? That's 2 props in for next year at least, i've only really noticed him play a few times and looks solid. 6'4 and 17 and a half stone is not bad at all, anybody else excited by this? He's young and hopefully will only develop and get better
