I cannot ever remember being so underwhelmed by signing. I could never understand how this vey average player ever got into such a great Leeds side.

This just looks like a desperate signing, as there is nobody else available and really puts a big question mark over the clubs ambitions.

I think you need to look at the signings as a whole, rather than pick out individuals. Sandow, Lineham, Westerman & Hughes should all be very good signings for us. Dodds comes with a bit of an injury cloud over him but has had a good year for Brisbane. Gidley will only be here for a year or two but should provide us with some good direction, experienace and work ethic. Cox & Bailey are without doubt a bit of a leap of faith, but the squad is far stronger than last year IMO.

I remember when we (Tigers) announced we had given him another chance to resurect his career - i was exited about seeing a bit more physicality in the pack. Boy was I disappointed. 6 games for Tigers in 2015 and I can honestly say I didn't even notice him on the field.

My local town got Sam Bailey to turn on the Christmas lights. I think that we got the better deal.

Don't like the bloke but it sounds like his contract has some pretty strident stipulations as regards behaviour etc.. Let's just see how it pans out.

Useless lump of a player. Did about 5 or 6 stints for Cas and he's just lazy, no aggression, nothing. Let's hope you get more out of him than we managed

When you are questioning the ambition of the club with regards to its signing(s) you can't look in isolation at one player.

That is the really interesting part for me. I wonder whether he has had to explain why he's made any other of his signings, at any club, at any time. Probably not I suspect. I really hope this doesn't create any issues.
