| The buck stops with Smith, blaming Agar is silly he won't be doing anything that isn't approved by Smith, he doesn't have secret training sessions with the team and then at the end say "ok guys remember everything i taught you today but....don't tell Tony, this is our little secret'
I don't want Smith out but seriously some people think so much of TS that they convince themselves he's beyond reproach and blame everything else.
This is a problem of Smiths making, i would like him to sort it out.

| He should go. Warrington have been one of the top 2 teams for the last 5 or 6 seasons and a couple of GF losses is a poor return. The team that lost the GF to Leeds was outstanding that season and in my opinion the best team not to win the GF in any particular year. You have had a golden period in your club history with just a few Challenge Cups to show for it. The club needs fresh impetus from a new coach or you guys will be scratching your heads in 10 years time wondering what happened to those missed opportunities.

The problem is there's currently no outstanding candidate(s) out there shouting 'pick me, pick me'.

| He should definitely stay now that Agars ideas seem to be coming through.

| i feel smith has let us down in regards recruitment (NRL) and team selection somewhat lately... But it cant be easy losing the players he has and keep the team at the top.
He is a top coach though and we have to give him a chance to build another side and see how it goes..... If we dont look much good this time next year then fair enough.... but we have to give him a chance to sort this out.
For the first time since he has been here, he has a decent pool of young players that are ready to step up to the plate..... he should be given some time with them to see if he can find the right mix.
so im firmly in the stay camp.... for another season at least.

| IIRC Smith said that one of the reasons he was moving on from Leeds was his belief that coaches have a limited shelf life at any club. Mind you, he also had Hetherington looking over his shoulder, and it sounds as if he likes complete control of on-field matters, including signings.
I know at Leeds there was talk of players not liking him, but frankly I couldn't care less so long as the coach delivers. Which he did, with Leeds' first title in 30 years. Then he delivered you guys the CC after decades. Maybe its because I'm older and sat through decades of stomach-churningly bad Leeds performances, but the Leeds 2004 win still buys Tony Smith credit with me today.

| Smith needs to rebuild his 'second side' after the success of the Hodgson-Briers-Monas-Morley-Carvell side.
I want the best for Wire and right now Tony is the best option.

| Hodgson, Briers and Monas was fantastic to watch.
Shame Hodgson went across to the smelly side, should have been on our staff with Monas
