| FFS, has it come to this. 9 pages of absolute dross, mainly about precious 18 year olds, who think they're "it", because they sing/bang a ####ing drum/turn up to EVERY game draped in replica gear makes them more of a fan, than a (for an e.g.) bloke in his mid 80's, who's followed us through thick and thin.
Quote: it "I have serious worries about anyone who would want to start up a group with a name that is associated with one of the most feared group of football hooligans in Europe (or a sanitary towel, be it with or without wings). it would automatically the chav types that all decent RL fans hate. Why can't everyone simply support their team in their own way and not be dictated to by a small group. If anyone has ever stood or sat next to me they'll know that I am one of the noisiest men that they'll ever have the misfortune to be next to, but I don't sing. Every couple of weeks we get a thread like this and we get the same few who think only they can create an atmosphere.'"
As usual, Teesside has thrown a little common sense onto the "discussion".
We are all Warrington fans.
We dont need little factions, claiming to be some elitist group of super supporters.

Thanks Lefty. I was actually thinking about taking a Cazoo to Cas tomorrow and joining them, but I'll probably do my usual and stand on the halfway line now, shouting myself ho and arguing with the locals.

| to be honest its getting quite annoying the fact how most people on here turn there nose up at us when we take a drum to a game. yes im a 17 year old lad who has had a season ticket now in my 14th year seeing as my uncle took me when i was younger and now go with mates, but we go to every game home and away but now have people on hear slagging us off for our support, we all support the same club and at the end of the day in big games you join in with us weather or not and have a good time. so how about actually having a normal conversation without telling us were trying to copy celtic or are ruining support for everyone else.

This. Everyone should join in no matter what. Unless its a 'big game' no one wants to know or join in. Add Wigan or Saints to the equation and suddenly everyone's up for it. Every game should be treated as a final...
I have the utmost respect for every player who puts their body on the line for our amusement, but to me. Shouldn't we be booing and jeering the opposition team when they walk out? Then scream and raise the roof for when wire walk out? Doing that puts the opposition on the back foot before the game has even started. Whether or not you like joining in with the chants/songs. 9,000 wire fans all singing together as one is going to destroy the opposition and lift the wire!
Instead, these days we clap the opposite team and politely clap on ourselves. Yes... Because nothing gets the team motivated like calm applause and the occasional 'come on wire!'
Lets make the HJ a party! Just like the Gilbert Brutus is on a match day, 'Let's all ave a disco!' and throw our passion onto the field.
I wonder how many out of the 10,000 CC ticket holders will turn up at Cas.
Its comes to something when 500 or so traveling fans make more noise than a home game throughout the entire 80 minutes

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Don't know why you're getting so cross about it, we've had threads like this in the past that have descended into all out war - this is tame by comparison. I don't think anyone is claiming to be anything at present, just people discussing their different approaches to watching the games.

| Are you a true fan because you don't have commitments and do have the money that lets you go to Castleford away? In an ideal world I'm sure a good percentage of that 10k would go if they could.

| I haven't been to many games this year and won't be going to Wembley. I am just as much a true fan as anyone on here.
And with regard to the supporters mmaking noise that is for their own enjoyment in making the game into an experience. The players will be too focused on the game to really take much note.
