| I imagine it's purely and simply because Buderus is captain, and Tommy Leuluai is vice-captain = 2 hookers in the team.
Bit stupid as MM is the best of the lot but there you go.

Agreed, but I think Leuluai will play at 7, Buderus won't last the full 80, and Monas is a better 9 than Faiumu.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

When I read that first I thought you meant McIlorum. Coffee all over the computer screen. Got confused between the two teams - I realise now you meant Monaghan.

| In a similar vein to some of the comments on here, I think we should rest Briers, both Monas, Westwood & Hodgeson for the cup game against Wigan.
We have Bradford at home in the league the week after. We don't want to risk letting our professional rugby players play every week do we.
Some of them may not be up to it in an relatively easy league game the following week!

| I think trying to predict who will or won't double up is a bit pointless. It all depends on a) how many minutes they play in the Origin game b) whether they suffer any knocks or injuries and c) overall availability and fitness of players in each position following the Crusaders game / weeks training / Origin game.
For example, do we want to be without both Anderson and Westwood on Sunday? Probably not. But if they both play 60+ minutes on Friday and pick up minor injuries we may have to. If one comes back much fresher than the other, then maybe the fresher one will play but the other won't. And if they both come back having not played much and feeling raring to go, then both may play.

Agree with that Seb. Tony may have a 17 for Sunday in the back of his mind but it will all hinge on how the players who appear on Friday feel on Saturday or even Sunday morning. I doubt he will assume any of them will back up but its clear that the ones who feel ok will play. As we know God won't take any risks.

Thats what i think aswel,no point in over playing our players and not coming up with the wrong results.
Fingers crossed though everyone is injury free Friday night/saturday/sunday morning.

According to McBanana you have to show good form over a period of time not just 7 or 8 weeks.

and peacock captaining???
I had all the faith in the world for the banana but that is the stupidest decision possible.
He has only been back a short while and hasn't shown any great form. To play is too much; never mind to captain.

3076_1671446335.jpg SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS
For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.
For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.
Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_3076.jpg |

| Morley, Peacock, Sinfield and Carvell should not have played in this game. We should be looking forward to the 2013 World Cup.
The younger players should have been given a chance.

Not sure about all of those.
2 props should have with 2 young ones.
Props do improve with age.
Got to agree with Sinfield though.

Absolutely..... it should have been a game to blood younger players.
imagine the uproar of one of those players gets an injury that keep them out for a while.

Has he actually said this about Lomax? The selections of Sinfield, Wilkin (As a back rower) and McIllorum seem to be going against that.
