The dick measuring was started by the Wigan fans because I dared to suggest that all their players aren't world beaters. They chose to miss the part where I praised the coaching set-up and alot of their players. A few then proceeded to claim players are better than our's at the sames positions. I also listed players at our own club who I would class as average and product of good systems. Yet again, that was ignored. Just shows the ignorance and stupidity that fans display when their team is questioned.

Not true.
You proclaimed that Wigan had a lot of average players.
Quote: Galloping Ghost "Great preview. If you look down their squad there are alot of average players, but Maguire has instilled a great discipline and belief in the squad. It seems to be running straight through the club as you see when the youngsters come in they have the same attributes.'"

When challenged you came up with
Quote: Galloping Ghost "Alot was probably a bit of an exagertation. I'd say Goulding, Carmont, Leuluai, Hansen, Coley and McIlorum are all average. Wigan are succesful by having a great coach and a great set-up throughout the club. Three outstanding world class talents in Richards, O'Loughlin and Tomkins. Saints carried players like Arnold, Jonkers, Edmondsen, West etc for many years. The same is happening at Wigan. I think your core three are better than most others.'"

No mention of average Warrington players at this point, only Saints ones although the Dwayne West is quite tenuous one as he only started eight games for Saints and had 15 subs appearances in three seasons.

Tommy Leuluai is a World Cup winner, a four nations winner and a m.o.m, in last years Grand Final winning team.

At no point have I stated that Ben Harrison is an average player (I actually think that he is a good player) it's just that Harrison Hansen IMO is a better all round player, and is certainly NOT average.

Wigans team is greater than the sum of its parts and I feel are more of a star team than a team of stars. Individually the Warrington team is stronger, particularly when all are fit.

We shall see.

I'd probably agree with that. I do think however that Warrington are a lot more overly reliant on 2 or 3 players (Briers/Morley/Monaghan) than Wigan, I feel we could cope with key players being out better (see Hudds last week for example, Tomkins/Finch/Fielden etc out.)

This thing about Finch gets to me. He hasn't even played for Wigan yet so how could they miss him anyway? The days of Warrington not coping without Briers were ended last season and Morley has missed games and been withdrawn from games this year. Much has been said about Wigan missing players, but Atkins, King, Anderson (all internationals) and Cooper are all out.

I used Saints as an example, as they too have been a champion team. Apart from that, you've pretty much confirmed what I posted earlier. If you had any idea, you'd realise that Harrison is prop/second row hybrid. I mentioned average Warrington players as somebody asked me. The reason I didn't use us initially as we aren't a champion team as Saints and Wigan are. You then turned it into a dick measuring contest between Harrison and Hansen. Then many people chose to laugh at you.

Not even sally could make a case for that one.

Think we will chalk this one down next to your 'Karl Pryce is a quality player'.

Quote: 1905 "Why come on here and insult your own player?

The subject of the quote was Hanson. So if you use he as a pronoun, by the way a pronoun is a word that replaces a noun, you can only do so (without explicit reference to) for the sudject of the first clause not the subordinate one.

Allow me to explain, you wrote;

We have heard he has to use velcro because he can't tie his laces

Due to quote you used Hasen replaces he

So substituting the pronoun you used for the proper noun.

We have heard hansen has to use velcro because hansen can't tie his laces

I'm not sure this is what you meant. Try again.'"

This has got to be the saddest post I've seen so far.
