Derren Brown is very precise in everything he does. He is a master of [imisdirection[/i, he simply us 3 possibilities at the start and fleshed them all out and the last option was to plant that seed of doubt in your mind.

No you're right.

He's going to try and use subliminal messaging live to glue us all to our chairs. Some people are more susceptible to that stuff than others, like hypnosis.

Don't agree at all. If you watch it closely, the camera is moving slightly all the time and moving completely in time on each side of the screen. Derren Brown is too clever for anything as mundane as camera trickery.
