The issue most of us "half heads" have is that they can seperate the undoubted on-field ability of the player from that which they know of his off field character and behaviour.

Have you ever seen Briers 'out on the town' when he shouldn't be?

As a follow on has anyone who HAS seen him out noticed what he was drinking?

It's all a load of e if you ask me. I've never yet actually spoke to anyone that has witnessed it first hand.

I would imagine he doesn't go out any more than any other rugby player.

No wonder he wants to leave. Who can blame him. If we are to say goodbye to Lee I for one hope he stays til the end of the year so he can get the send off he deserves.

There was actually a picture of Briers in Panama Jacks the night before a game, drinking VK Orange posted on this forum a while ago but the picture was deleted.

Ok then when exactly was it you saw him what was he drinking? Where?

I have seen him "represent" the club at a number of functions in a surly, disinterested, unprofessional and sulky manner. I have overheard his conversations with his pals from Hattons (relating to getting tatered after the game and being dismissive of his role with regards to his player appearance to sponsors) which dissapointed me. I also have a family friend involved in the dressing room on matchdays whose opinion I trust. Finally he holds a criminal conviction for drink driving which I think speaks volumes about his character.

Lets wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

I don't have enough time to list them all but here are a few.

When = before a game, after a game, pre-season, off-season.

Where = Wigan, Toms 101, Panama Jacks, Darli Bar.

Drink = VK Orange, Shots, Lager, Jaegermiser.

Also buying creates of beer from Bargin Booze in Padgate but this proves nothing.

Just to cover myself im going to say allegedly because i don't have photo's like everyone want's.

Wasnt it "common knowledge" he was allegedly dropped for the Hull KR away game a few seasons ago after arriving at the ground before kick off the worse for wear?

I've heard stuff about Lee Briers from former players, I won't say on here as it's against the rules but I believe most of the stuff I hear about his 'antics' off the pitch.
