Atkins and Goodwin are both 33, so presumably wouldn't cost a vast amount of money if we retained them next year ? I had almost forgotten Burrell, but I wonder if Price would consider playing him in the pack. He is already 31, so no Spring chicken. I suppose if we had to release one of them it would be Atkins for me, but reluctantly, after all Burrell isn't on the salary cap anyway so he will not be pressurising our cap budget.

Mamo will surely be re-signed ? He is very good on the wing, provides dangerous pace in broken play and can fill in at FB if Ratch gets injured. I think his defensive play needs a bit of work.

His £ per minute played must be huge at the moment.

Shame because SBW last season was as good as anytime over the last decade.

If we were to recruit another quality player, what position would we look at ?

Personally I think I would release Tasi and Akauola and get in a 40 minute bench prop.

Not really, no. I think we certainly need another big prop though that can make the hard yards and doesn't need a breather after 12 nanoseconds. Has Gareth Carvell got a son I wonder ?

Both their contracts expire at the end of this season.

Akauola clearly is not rated highly by Steve Price.

Not sure whether Tasi`s form to-date will merit a new contract for him either.

We need a decent prop signing who would replace them both.

Great news regarding these three I'm equally pleased that we've re signed them perhaps more so (very slighlty) Lineham as I think he's been decent last year and this and with Mamo giving him competition he seems to be really applying himself and looks happy to be here under Price and we've saved him from a Yarkshire RL life for a few more years so win win

From next season I'd have zero issue with our being King & Mamo.

This isn't any kind of slight on Atkins or Goodwin.
Atkins still has it, and has been a great player for us for a decade, and Goodwin was one of the buys of last season, when on song he's pure class. Wouldn't [iwant[/i to see either leave.

And then there's Burrell still to come.

On another note does anybody know how much Atkins earns with us, i assume he's on a big wage as he's been with us for so long
Defo think Akauola is gone and i think Tasi will be gone so i'd say a new Prop is due next year as Westwood will be gone aswell?
