You'd better get a cold shower!

| The best bit was Wigan 0! Really enjoyed it, some great performances wouldn’t like to call on mom but Roberts definitely stepped up at least 1 level today, hopefully just a sign of things to come.

| Absolute scorcher of a performance, perfectly executed gameplan, standout performances all over the park (nice one Tyrone) and a nilling into the bargain.
Not a weak link in sight, glorious day to be a Wire.
Well done Mr Price.

| Our defence won that game today ,there were several times where our attack was at sixes & sevens ,lacking any direction whatsoever. A loose ball from a Wigan dropped catch & we couldn't put a move together in 6 tackles & there were other occasions when we looked lost close to the try line.
Happily we nilled Wigan & if we can build an attack to match our defensive effort some big teams will pay the price.

| Being objective about it given we won, can anyone please explain on what possible grounds that first Livett kick wasn’t given? On the TV they did start to give a possible explanation on the ground that the posts are deemed to extend upwards infinitely beyond their height, which I can see would be relevant if the trajectory of the ball had gone through the vertical plane going upwards, or even connected with the top edge of the post, but it looked to me simply to hit the (very) top part of the side of the post and glance off that to go through the posts, in which case I cannot see the relevance of the “deemed vertical extension” rule. They did also say that the video ref had said that he would not have given it if it had been referred to him. I don’t have any axe to grind here, just keen to understand the reasoning. Can anyone explain?

| superb from us today...mean defence and clinical in attack. Roberts controlled the game with a very good display...especially his kicking game. Clarke was his usual brilliant self, as was Hill. BMM running over Tautai was just brilliant.

Weird one with him, he didn’t come on at all in the first half as you would expect him to, then when he did come on lasted less than ten mins I think before limping off. Just wondering whether he carried an injury in to the game, or picked one up during the warm up and we decided to risk t?

| We were good. Well executed game plan I think. Forwards bossed it and Clark / Roberts both really good.
Bad day to be a pie eater. Getting dominated and nilled on the beeb, flares thrown on the pitch and ‘that video’.
