I don't know why you are bumping it for that. Winning back to back at Wembley isn't something you can say you've seen your side do that I've not. I've seen Saints win the Challenge Cup 7 times, League/GF 5 times and the WCC twice.

My thread wasn't a gloating/trolling at your exit from SL attempt either, it was more a 'damn, no last battle at KR' thread.

As a Saints fan, I have mixed feelings this morning, my head says it's good that we have the opportunity to pick Huddersfield next week. (No disrespect to Huddersfield as they are a good time and if Robinson and Brough play as they did yesterday, they will give us a real run for our money)

However - My heart says it's a pity that one of the Superpowers of modern day RL is now out, imagine the suspense of waiting for the enevitable Club Call later... Which would have set us up for "one final battle royal" at Knowsley Road... That would have been a truly fitting game to end it all with 5000 of your lot in it too.

Warrington have come on leaps and bounds in the last few years and you have a major cup "again" this year, feels strange having to admit that eusa_clap.gif so come on its not been a bad season. icon_thumb.gif

Quote: Saddened! "The unfortunate thing about your defeat to the Giants is that you have now been denied that final chance to break the hoodoo and win at Keiron's Castle. I must admit to having mixed feelings. Normally I would have been delighted to see a local rival crash and burn, but somehow I feel sad that we've not had that one last dance together.

You could always come down to Knowsley Road to watch our game next week. Saint for a night and all that, just to say goodbye to the ground.'"

It was a very poor attempt at a dig.

I understand where saddened is coming from. I think the drama of a will they wont they this afternoon would have been quite exciting. Think the biggest winners last night were wigan, cause they have a better chance of making the GF at leeds than playing saint's. To be honest i can't see beyond saints winning it this year.

I asked this question to you a while ago and you never replied.

Here goes again.

Why do you live in Warrington and support Saints. If you like Saints so much why don't you move there?

I haved lived in Warrington all my life. I support Saints because my Dad is from St Helens and I went to games with him as a nipper. By the time I realised I lived in Warrington and that they had a team I was already a die hard Saints fan with an Alan Hunte mini kit.

Well I'm younger than Keiron Cunningham for starters.

Last win at KR was in Jan 1994, 21-11 with Mike Gregory, Rob Myler and Lee Penny scoring our tries and Jonathan Davies kicking the goals plus a drop goal.

We were top of the league at the time and had knocked Saints out of the Regal Trophy at KR a few weeks earlier, so winning away at Saints although still a good result, did not have the sense of history it otherwise would if we had known then that would be the last time we ever won at the ground.

Man United were top of the Premiership with Blackburn chasing them. John Smith was leader of the Labour party and miles ahead in the opinion polls so looked like he would be the next Prime Minister. D-REAM were top of the charts with "Things Can Only Get Better". How ironic.
