| What has happened to Bradford being 'the team to play for'?
At a stage, Bradford we're iconic, they had a largely British team, with a sprinkling of top-class overseas players.
Seems to me, when Noble, who was at Odsal for many years, was the lynch-pin to their success. I know 1 man doesn't make a great team, but it looks like 1 man can destroy one!

Bradfords '03 Grand final squad!
Stuart Reardon
Tevita Vaikona
Michael Withers
Shontayne Hape
Lesley Vainakolo
Leon Pryce
Karl Pratt
Paul Deacon
Joe Vagana
James Lowes
Stuart Fielden
Daniel Gartner
Jamie Peacock
Mike Forshaw
Paul Anderson
Lee Gilmour
Robbie Paul
Lee Radford
Rob Parker
So 7 of 19 are 'overseas' players. But the 'core' of the team is English. Most of them being at the top of the english game. Forshaw, Lowes, Fielden, Peacock, Deacon, Anderson, Gilmour, Pryce, Pratt and IIRC Withers, being picked for international duty at the end of the year

32137_1302980312.jpg Fat blokes in the mud, flat caps, bogs that drain pi55 directly onto your boots - Now it's all 'Big Ask', 'Arm Wrestle', 'Collision' 'Contact' 'Facials' 'Upper Body Strength' 'Big Units' 'Scooting from Dummy Half' 'Energy Levels' 'Laying the Platform' ‘Middles’ and 'T-R-Y'. Let’s not forget resilience.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_32137.jpg |

Very good squad.
The Reardon signing is a strange one for me. Backward step

We have Halley at FB, Platt is cover.
I think we have signed Reardon as a cheap wing option, and as cover. Platt and Reardon will cover our backline next season.
Imo, a good signing as he will be cheap, and if he doesn't recapture any form then we can say bye at the end of next season.

Halley has a touch of class about him in my opinion, seems to be developing year on year. I think he's represented Wales before and without the whole turncoat thing again, I thought he might have represented England the other night as oppose to Sykes at FB.

| How is he going to find the time to carry out his legal action against Warrington? As I recall those who had the inside line on his case reckoned our club was in trouble and would do well to be able to afford the damages Reardon was due.
Mind you I'm sure the same people reckoned Sinfield was a "nailed-on" signing.

He's got better and better this season and i'm looking forward to seeing him have a whole season at FB. He needs to develop more of a step, but he certainly has speed, he's been solid in defence and chimes well into the attack running good lines in a Greenshields sort of way. Our backline still leaves a lot to be desired, but it's slowly improving again.
Halley
Sheriffe
Sykes/Crookes
Nero
Reardon
Kearney
Deacon
With Platt covering this. We should be announcing another signing in the backs aswell I think, unless the one mentioned was Reardon.

For the avoidance of doubt I, myself, do not think Noble is a poop coach. Far from it. He has better SL credentials than any other SL coach and, dare I say it, Tony Smith. I long for the day when Tony Smith has surpassed with Warrington what Noble did at Bradford.
