As I pointed out on another thread, it's a sad indictment on 'west coast' teams that, unlike Yorkshiremen who are all supporting Giants, the collective chips on the shoulders of most Wiganers, Salford, Saints and even Comics' fans can't allow them to support the 'Lancy' team. To be fair, Saints fans have been the most reasonable, maybe because they've won plenty of cups so feel magnanimous, whereas the rest would prefer the continued hegemony of the 'big four' rather than see someone other than their team carry off some glory.
