Very brave move awarding a 3 year contract to a player that hasn`t played rugby league for a season.

Suspect if we were interested that we would have offered an initial 1 year deal, so that he could prove himself.

You are right it is a big gamble,let's hope we have had some good advice from the medical team.Once I knew we had signed him I had a look on your forum and its fair to say that its encouraging that the majority,given medical provisions,would have had him back.It's also good to see that now he is ours,there is none of the usual,he's crap,waste of money etc.Most are wishing him well and good luck.Credit to you guys and good luck with your season.

nah, he was a bit of a bright spark in the crap season of 2017. Even if it was obvious we were never keeping him.


I do think though that Hull have jumped the gun a bit giving him a 3 year contract, but in the situation that you find yourselves in Pearson/radford probably felt they had to jump at this since he was available. Hopefully he does well for you and his knee is all back to normal.

I don't think he's coming back from injury too soon at all, it's been over a year since the injury and he's been training all pre-season with the Broncos. He's be fine once he's over here playing again. Best of luck to him

Good signing and possibly at a key time.. They're on a bit of a roll if they can get a few wins in before he plays he could be a real boost for Hull.

I liked him when he played for us it's a shame he left although we knew it was inevitable he would be leaving, I think if he gets back to full fitness and has a good season this time next year we could be hearing rumours of a return to the nrl.
