From a family orientated club selling a family game as entertainment, taking money from a company that sells a product with potentially serious negative effects on health is in my opinion a poorly thought out move. Allowing a stand to be named after the company stinks to high heaven.

I'm going to throw my opinion behind the lobby that this is a bad thing or at least a backwards step. Sure it's not illegal but as a club we are judged by the company we keep. Emirates is one thing an e-cig vaping company is another and not in a good way as far as I'm concerned, hence the need for all the rhetoric about 'health benefits' when it's purely about the pound notes.

Vaping does not produce smoke it produces vapour. Anyone terrified by vapour had best stop boiling a kettle or having a hot bath.
i get some peoples concerns about the nicotine content(purely based on cigarettes) but practically everthing sold at the ground that is consumed is bad for your health such as pies, pizzas, alcohol, pop etc and the reasonthey are sold is to make money. None of them are on sale for health reasons.
There is no evidence that vaping effects the health of anyone yet 10,000s of people die of alcohol related illnesses every year and nobody is calling for a ban on that at the ground.
If i saw a grass snake i would be wary of it injecting me with venom. Thats cos i associate snakes with venom.
