I've loved House from the off, draws 3 defenders regularly, he's a big guy and hard to put down and his workrate is exceptional.

i haven't been impressed with him up until this season at all.

his defence has never been in doubt but with ball in hand he was poor i thought... last season he averaged under 6m, per carry, which is poor for any forward.

However, this season he appears to be running it in alot harder and making more yards... which is nice.

Whens does his contract run out?

I never thought House was the kind of forward to smash the doors down, he's the kind of forward who distracts the bouncers while the centre sneaks in.

He's been an exceptional player for us since the very first season.

He had a short settling in period of probably the first part of his first season where he was clearly adapting to the new style of rugby he was used to in the NRL.

L.Anderson isn't fit to lace his boots to he honest. And I like him.

Someone who can see past the hype and see the real quality of a player! LAnderson wasn't bad but people who rate him anywhere near as good as Waterhouse probably rated people like Danny Lima and Michael Sullivan. Enough said!

Yeah you've Got to love players that:

A) are finding time to settle - Remember form is temporary class is permanent

B) Are adjusting to the different style of rugby from the NRL
C) maybe are being asked to do something different by the Coach (thats a favourite of mine)
D) Does stuff that goes Unnoticed...(belter)
or
E) Plays really well in the last year of his contract....

Trent's having a great season but he set the bar quite low to start off with, or maybe I just didn't notice the unnoticed stuff...

has anyone ever noticed Benny Westwood doing the unnoticed stuff.....

oohhh you cant say things like that.... he used to play in the NRL don't you know.

If Westwood was 5 years younger the NRL clubs would be throwing money at him. Alas, the trend for signing British forwards came a bit late for him.

I think Trent has been class from the off regardless of what other players do or don't do! Shows how far we have come to be umming and aahing over waterhouse when in the not too distant past we were chair lifting the abysmal Simon gillies off the wilderspool turf!

He was a looker, wasn't he, old Simon? He made Don Duffy look like George Clooney.

Not that I'm so inclined, but Waterhouse is far better looking than any forward who has plied his career in the top-flight for a decade has any right to be. Most modern forwards resemble some of the "ladies" who frequent the Pound Bakery, but with less body art.
