| I had Warrington at -12 and to be honest the scoreline flattened us. You never really needed to get out of second gear and coasted for the majority. Thaler ruled out numerous opportunities for forward passes or knock on's. Westwood missed a few conversations and the reality is you could have easily hit 60.
I'd say Thaler gave Wakey alot of the benefit of the doubt and there was never at expecting nor atmosphere around the ground that suggested Wakefield could really give you a game. You guys won comfortably without really playing to the standard that will be required in the play-offs.
Atkins played pretty well, Briers was quiet but effective and Myler looked tricky when running with the ball. Decent turnout from the Wire too. All in all, nice sunny day, won 35 quid and met some nice fans. So good luck for the rest of the season

| We weren't great today, but we won and that's all that matters. We tried the quick passing down the left (Louis, Atkins, Hicks) a few too many times and it never really came off. Wakey lacked creativity and Thaler had a shocker. Paul Wood looked tired partway through the first half and he ended up giving away a try because of it. Tackling looked lazy at times too, going too high and just putting an arm over.
But as I said, we won, and we're into 2nd place and that's all that matters

I agree - you didn't really need to, since we were as ineffective today as we have been for the majority of this season.
Nice round of applause for JD from your lot btw - that was nice to see.

Demetriou's been an honest pro for many years in Super League and deserves a good send-off. If he does get a Championship contract, he will be a fine signing for someone.

(Apologies if this is mentioned elsewhere but I couldn't be bothered to scroll back through all 7 pages.)

Did okay tbh, few opportunities to shine but took his chance to score well and did set up another try which was (wrongly) chalked off for a forward pass.
