As a Warrington and Sale Sharks fan, I would be slightly disappointed to see Doherty sign for Warrington.

Would much rather keep Penny, and try and work with him. Plus there are younger players coming

Doherty is a solid player. Good tackler, high workrate. He would certainly be a capable League player.

Sale signed him from Wasps, who picked him up from Leeds. Wasps won the Heinken Cup that season.

But he lacks any real class, and has failed to take chances, that you expect wingers to score. Having said that he has played for a dreadfully coached Sale team for the past few seasons, and has probably only been passed to 5 times in two seasons.

He's still a young man, who hasn't quite furfilled his early potential. Maybe Smith could bring out the best in him, though just don't quite see it.

He isnt a natural 13.. although he does get used there now and again... Ben is a prop.

Agreed, he is a prop and will get better and better in that position. I would like to see a really good 13 and one outside back and I think we will have an excellent squad for next year.

I'd say of every position at the club it's currently our strongest link when you consider that Coops can't make the seventeen at present.

Caution. Paul Cullen said that of Warren Stevens before signing him.

If he didn't spend 50% of his time knocked out or concussed he could have been.

Hill was a standout perfomer against us in the preseason friendly. As far as I am aware, Leigh fans rate him very, very highly.

Hill would benefit from morley.

Hill is Rubbish.....think he would be better staying at Leigh IMO....
