I doubt that Wigan are remotely on a gimme with Wakefield, Wakey are at home too, Wigan don’t have a great record there either.

| Don't know what you all want.
We had the hilarity of a child driving a little car past Stef while he was waiting to kick off.
Harhar jolly good.
And we trended on social media for 12 hours.
Better than 10 Grand Final wins is that

| That's not why they say at all! Not is it what the majority of they have been saying.
I haven't commented on the game because I didn't watch it. Last week wakey were good and certainly good for the win nobody has said after either game that we were robbed by the ref or wakey weren't the best team so I think you're looking for offense personally. Why would we be interested in sharing wakeys success with a load of back clapping when we clearly have a shameful team at the minute? Do you not think we should be expecting more?
Good luck against wigan I genuinely hope you win it and progress to the semi finals but just enjoy your victory, don't make things up.

| The number of stupid decisions is ridiculous:
1) Why not take a drop goal when we are up by 6. We had 2 early chances to do it. The amount of times Sneyd helped Hull FC with this is insane, even mid way through a game. I don't know why we don't ever really do this.
2) Williams giving the ball to Holmes to run it in on the last tackle.
3) Widdop through after the catch in the air but doesn't pass it off to Walker to break through.
4) And especially... 9 seconds to go (Wakefield fans even counting down for us), we tackle them and turn the ball over, nobody rushing for 1 last play. We play the ball after the hooter and it's game over. How stupid could you be?
Unfortunately we are a terrible team in attack and defence. Forward pack aside, the lines that Powell is getting us to run may not be effective enough and it's always with a lack of pace. Increase the pace and we may have a chance. And the defence is all over the place.
But surely just some small decisions like these have a knock-on effect (and when I say knock-on effect, don't get that confused with Peter Mata'utia the knock-on merchant)... just making better game management decisions (and I think we were denied a 40/20, not 100% sure) would go a long way while we are clueless on both sides of the ball.
Sorry for the rant. Just losing the will to live at this point.

I aint seen many patting wakey on back neither did i last week which doesnt bother me at all in anyway i was just replying to a wire fan who said we will get hammered by wigan.it is what it is i see alot of disgruntled wire fans and its all about how poor the wire have been.i however will enjoy the victory has in reality idont get that privilege too often maybe i may with willie at the helm.and im sure powell will sort you guys out of he is allowed to build a team opposed to just buying so called superstars like warrington normally do

| I think poching is a fine coach and I'm glad hes doing well at the minute for you. We were certainly better when he was a coach here under Tony Smith. In fact when he left was sort of the time it all started to go a bit wrong for us, but I do think that had more to do with Tony's magic wearing off rather than poching leaving.
Really glad to see him doing well and wakey playing good rugby, although I haven't particularly enjoyed it the last 2 weeks. The first few weeks of the season gave a false impression, we could see you had a good team against Saints even when you didn't get the result, whilst after 3 games we looked like we had a platform to build from!
Look you've been the better team both matches but despite us being pretty awful and you being good, we still had a chance after 70 minutes last week when really we had no right to and it was only 4 points today, you will have far sterner tests to prove yourselves against than us on these performances! Wigan will be difficult IMO, they're a good side as well.

Depends which one we are actually on. Bradford took a ride on Oblivion in 2009 (I think it might have been around that year), and well, they're still waiting.
I hope we aren't in a position come August, when were checking our tickets and crossing our fingers.

Think this guy is right. Wakey the far better side in both games but once the players learn how to play Powell’s way and start believing in him and his structured things will come good for you, it takes time under a new coach. You’ll end up there or there abouts but I do think you need a couple of big go forward front rowers. Was expecting more from Billy after all the hype, massive disappointment but we’ve seen imports before have a shocker of year n season one but then go on to kill it - just look at pay Richards Wigan couldn’t give him away and then the rest is history! Hopefully we’ll give Wigan a good game and maybe even turn them over. Be nice to have a new name on the cup lol (sure that gets said every year!). Good luck with the rest of the season except of course when you visit belle vue a treble would be nice haha

Fair post and I hope you knock Wigan out.
You can have your treble as long as you count last season's away defeat at Belle Vue. I'm hoping we've improved before our next visit
