I do use the words 'miracle' and 'dramatic turn around in our fortunes', and I'm not crazy enough to expect us to go on to win our next fives, but as I also said, 'stranger things have happened'.
Surely we still want to finish as high as we can this season, even if that only means fifth rather than sixth or holding onto sixth rather than drop to seventh or eighth. The only possible dead rubber I can foresee us being involved in at the minute is if we are fixed in sixth and Saints are fixed in second or third come the last game of the season.

| That's the thing that "piddles me off", Thelonius
We DO have the capability of WINNING all 5.
We also have the capability of LOSING all 5 (which will make 8 on the bounce).
Sad, really. Four years ago, losing 3 on the bounce would be inconceivable. Now, it's almost expected

No.....We didn't have a chance of the top 4 all season. ..In fact dig up some old posts on here many didn't think we would make the 8.....
If I remember only the all new Chester Wire thought we would make the top 4 and also Saints fan saddened. ..but he's never right

| With the signings of Daryl Clark and Ashton Sims ,I felt we had the opportunity to improve on 2014 but, it just hasn't worked out ,hardly been able to field the same team all season ,the depth of our squad was not good enough for this new format,we will learn and be better next season ,though I think RFL may have to look at salary cap again ,if teams need to have bigger squads to compete

| That doesn't make sense to me cutter...
How does increasing the salary help teams to compete against each other?

| Problems with system, problems with the salary cap....don't see any Hudds, Stains, Leeds or Pies fans talking about this. I wonder why? We weren't good enough. It's done, build a loving bridge and get over it. We will be better next year with new signings and hopefully less injuries.
No league fixture against the Pies will ever be a dead rubber for me and I'm looking forward to it. And the others for that matter. It would be nice to put a dent in a few other team's hopes before the season is out and we will

| I love it when we beat the Pies, it was the measure of how good our season was for 3 decades.
Never having a hope of winning ewt like this season was common place.
Let's be realistic, how many of us really thought we had a top 4 team before a ball was kicked this season?
I sure for one didn't, I peed enough of you off saying how poor our hb combo is and how lightweight our pack is all season.
What is frustrating and disheartening, is that when I'd became blindingly obvious, we were average, is the stubbornness from TS to address it.

| Yup Rd he doesn't seem to be able to work out a game plan that works with the players we have now and seems happy to sit behind he let's them play what's infront of them, briers hodgeson and monas were cleaver enough to read the game n play what's infront of them
This current team needs more structure and set plays which we don't seem to have.
I don't believe that the players don't put the effort in I just don't think they are good enough. Also are our expectations too high?? Eg Roy asostasi what did we expect to get?? The Roy of ten years ago?? He does Ok not tearing up the super league but he has the fastest play the ball of any of our props so why not start him get the fast ptbs and get a roll on with Clark running from dummy before they have time to get defence set?
Our best games we've had players making easy yards from.running from.dummy for first few tackles this sends the opposition defence in array unable to get set n then we can play what's infront of us

| I always back warrington to win. I always put them top of the league and I never back my team to lose.
Next year I'll do the same.

| If you care to find it, you'll see a post where a predict leeds to win everything. But I'll still not put them on top of the league above us. Superstitious.

Actually everyone has been banging on about our rubbish HB's and our lightweight pack.... He pee'd everyone off by banging on about Bridge and Ratchford all the time.
But then i thought 'nah, wont bother'
