| The writing was on the wall when Houghton came on ,he can work wonders with Hull. I'd love to know where the get all these big islanders from who just keep going .
Still never mind, gallant losers once more , & more of the same to look forward too next season.

| . Y favourite bit of his post match interview was him having a go at the players for our kicking game in the second half, when it was exactly the same as the first half, and exactly the same as the rest of this bloody season

| Hill is spent now, been a great servant and may even deserve a bench spot next year. Rather not see him leave like Atkins did.
Hughes, not good enough and doesn't seem captain material to me.
Clark, basic, not worth the quota spot
Ashton. Use him for pace, not a battering ram
Widdop, needs to play behind a dominant pack

| Things I hope I never have to see ever again
Pointless drop off passes that are hugely obvious and taken up at snail pace by man mountains like Hughes.
The best hooker in SL crabbing sideways, fending, dummying and generally being reduced to the effectiveness of John Thursfield
BMM, Akuola, Latu &J Clarke in any context
Talented, pacy, elusive backs being used as battering rams
Her at no.32 in her winnie the pooh onesie
Oh and ANY of our coaching staff anywhere near the club.

Bit harsh mate, got a guilty pleasure for her at 32. I see the inner beauty.
The rest, spot on. I'll add hughes to the list though.
I think tonight, poor Matty Ashton will close his eyes and sea a wall of South Sea Islanders about to smash him.

| Over the course of the season I can remember only 3 excellent/very good performances.
5 to 6 indifferent/average performances but get the win.
The rest has been awful.
Add this Hull game to the bottom pile...

| No one would have believed, after beating Catalan at the end of that 8 or 9 game winning run, that we only had two more wins in us. It's been a very similar campaign to the last one but without the cup win. For two years running we've gone from enjoying a long run of really good performances, to completely falling off a cliff, almost overnight, and then failing to recover before the season ends. From genuine title contenders, to sliding down the table and falling at the first hurdle in the playoffs, against lower ranked opposition, in our own backyard.

| Fortunately didnt get to see the last half hour but I thought Hill had played great until that point. Taking the ball up well and was Battering them in defence, getting up and meeting them as soon as they got the ball. Guessing fatigue or stress caused a lapse in approach somewhere going by comments on here.

| Well Price really can't manage a team effectively, he clearly has no tactics, set plays or idea on what to do. It's a shame we've missed Watson really.
Seeing as it's the end of the season we should find out soon enough if Widdop is actually leaving us as there is no reason to wait anymore.
I hope Inglis hasn't clocked on that Price is awful and we've literally gotten worse and our attack has slowly disappeared every year since he's been in charge.
And i hope we have some Quality Surprise signings for next year, but seeing as Price has coached all the skill out of us, it doesn't matter who we sign as they will be badly coached and become worse players under the current coaching set up.

I think where things have gone wrong for us are as follows ,firstly most of the teams we have played since the restart have been worse than us apart from in the last month & ,secondly, most other teams work towards improving as the season progresses whereas we seem to flatline all the way through. Just think back to the shambles of last season when every other opponent improved while we fell off a cliff after Wembley. I think we should count ourselves lucky we didn't have to play Wigan or Saints in the last few weeks.
