Ha ha, to be fair that game in hand did take us top which proved all the celebrations about being top with more games under your belt was a little premature. Last week was the real victory for you.

Congrats guys, honestly. Best team in the competition and it's nice to see your good form the last 3 years finally recognised in the league history books.

Great young players combined with a backbone of experience and class, it pains me to say it but Wire are worthy winners.

The table doesn't lie. Warrington have the best for and against and have finished one point in front of Wigan having won convincingly last week and so one has to say well done. Enjoy the moment. The league leaders shield is a worthy prize for being the most consistent over the season. Warrington are clearly the team to beat in the play-offs.



I would love to see a Warrington v Wigan final because I think it has the potential to be a great game. However, I think Wigan will have their hands full playing Saints twice if games go to form. It could be an interesting play-off series.

It may have taken 38 years but it just shows that if small clubs work hard and buy the right players then anything is possible. Truly an inspiration to the likes of Wakefield, Cas and Quins.
