I'm sure there are many thousands of people who want to buy Take That tickets but can't afford to so don't, but there are also many thousands more who can and do buy them.
I think the number of people who want to go and see Take That is approximately a hundred times more than the number of people who want to attend any Warrington match.
Personally I've got no gripe with anyone who genuinely can't afford to attend. After spending a ton going to Hull at the last minute I'd have struggled personally if we had lost to Huddersfield last week and might not have been able to stretch to an extra game this weekend, although I would want to go.
The only thing I can't get my head round is the concept that some people who go regularly, or even occassionally, might simply choose not to attend the biggest game played at the HJ by a long long way, and if it fails to sell out then I can only imagine that in some cases that is what has happened.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

Agreed. Strikes me as apathy and/or confidence that the game is a formality.
My approach to matchgoing is simple. I have a season ticket. If we're at home, I go and watch them subject to being in the country, pressing matters of family or state. The fact it's a semi final doesn't make me any more likely to go oddly.

This. I can't see this game selling out if we play Huddersfield or Catalans. Fans are very fickle nowadays and think nothing of choosing to stay at home and watch it on the TV rather than going to the match.
I also think for the biggest ever game at the HJ, the atmosphere will be rubbish especially if we go 2 or 3 trys up .
I know it's not good for the nerves but I hope we play Leeds and it's a really close game. Drawing or a few points down going into the last 10 minutes.

Although that will feel brilliant AFTER the match (assuming we end up winning which you haven't actually specified) - remember Headingley 2006 for example - at this moment in time I hope whoever we play gets smashed like Huddersfield did last week.
