Things I learned on 11/08/12
Gareth Hock can't pass
Gareth Hock can't run
Gareth Hock can't fight

| As someone has pointed out (someone with sense) If Fadge hasn't seen the incident all he had to do was say so. To make a decision on the issue (which also hints towards him having seen it enough) and to say it was nothing DOES highlight his warped mentality.
If some of the idiots that have played the round ball game can learn to say they haven't seen an offside decision or a handball, then Fadge should be able to.
There is really no way to defending it. If he does a Flip Flop' (which many in the cherry and white fmaily seem to do hint: Ben cross thread) then he looks a ing idiot as well as a man with no ethics!

| He also said thisWe don't buy into the fatigue factor. They just played better on the day. Warrington built a lot of pressure and took a lot of juice out of us. Uncharacteristic things happen when you are fatigued."
Is that a huge contradiction, or have I had too much to drink?

He is saying what we did in the game today fatigued them i.e lots of sets in their half, not that they were fatigued before kickoff I think....

That's how I read it.

Gleeson has been the only player to have these issues at Wigan and we all know what happened with him. I'm struggling to think of any others to be fair so please enlighten me.
As for Hock, he is a very good RL player and if Wigan didn't take him on then there would have been a number of other clubs in SL who would have taken the risk. He had proved himself in training and his two years out that he wanted to get back into RL and you can't blame anyone for giving him a 2nd chance.
What Hock did today was inexcusable and it's a stupid thing to do after the Wigan club shown faith in him. You can't really blame Maguire for Hock's inept ability to use his brain.

| The RFL Disciplinary rates gouging the same as biting.
I'd expect nothing less than a 6 match ban, just in the interests of consistency. Wouldn't surprise me if it was 8 given his previous record.
It's a shame because he IS a good player when he lets his rugby do the talking.
By the way, all this rubbish about Wigan being a dirty TEAM, that's just embarassing. Facts are simple.... Warrington played a LOT better than us today, and had some good fortune with the bounce of the ball. Hock let us down with that incident, it spoiled what was really quite a good display of Rugby League.
We were far from our best, I hope we're back to our best if/when we meet in the playoffs or Grand Final... because I'm sure we'll give you a better game. Hopefully like the Challenge Cup match.
Well played today.

| No place for what he did in RL, having done it he's shouting at Harrison pretty much calling him a mard , do one Hock.
Deserves whatever is coming his way, hopefully a spell out.
Just ask Morley how important your vision is, not something that should be tampered with.

| Such bores on the SL show... if that type of thing happened in footy, Alan Hansen and co would be absolutely slating the player.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

It is a contradiction. I think he speaks far too quickly - literally, he's finishes most sentences before has has started them.
I suspect he meant to say that he doesn't buy into the fatigue factor from Wembley but that we built pressure which took a lot of their energy which, in turn, let to uncharactersistc things happening.

| At first it got me thinking, was it a ploy to get Wire players to fight, weakening us for the Hull game with the inevitable suspensions that would come with it, then i realised it was Hock and he's a big dumb sh*t and probably doesn't even think 5 minutes in to the future.

Easy mistake to make. You'd also assume players are unlikely to get a suspension as they would be acting in self defense.
Hock was just risking a hiding doing that, too. It is obvious he has the intelligence of a cabbage!
On a slightly related note, did anyone see rhp on sls on bbc1, he was almost condoning hock's actions.

| 8 Game ban minimum for me. Disgraceful act, should be dropped from the Wigan club too, they should make a stance.
