I've been watching since 79, so that's ...
Benyon... Player/coach...never coached before
Ashcroft .can't recall anything
Bowden...player coach, never won anything
Barrow. Promoted 2nd team coach
Johnson. First job...stayed too long
Dorahy...Coached Wigan in their pomp, but, so could my cat.
DVDV won a Regal Trophy with Cas. Stayed too long
Anderson and Plange. Enough said.
Cullen. First big job. Never won owt
Lowe's. First big job. Disastrous
Smith. A winner, but stayed too long.
Price. Failed in Aus. KF spent a month looking for him
Powell. Leeds got rid TWENTY years ago. Good enough for us
Any chance the next coach can be a winner, PLEASE.

Powells embarrassed himself with his post match comments this year, calling players out publically, always bemoaning injuries, talking about recruitment to solve problems. No wonder he lost the dressing room. I doubt another SL club will touch him.

Wane is a winner, but I really dislike his brand of rugby.
He's a Wiganer through and through with a nice job at his club - Wigan.
I'd be amazed if he came to us.
