I was surprised that Powell left Solomona on the pitch until the end of the game last night. The winger was obviously in a lot of discomfort with a hamstring problem and even though he may want to beat Vainokolo's try scoring record the coache's responsibility is for the welfare of his players. Unless Powell knows that Solomona will not be his player next year.?

To be fair. Its kind of gone under the radar as it's hardly been mentioned but he has been injured for a good part of the year. As have the pie team I only became aware of it recently watching sky last night. As was first time Wigan injury issues this year have been mentioned on sky. |

Incredible first half from Leigh, not enjoyed a half of rugby as a neutral as much as that for a while.
Huddersfield could easily score 30 more points in this game, but not sure they'll keep Leigh out in the second half.

Pleased for Leigh, another Derby game next year and another Superleague team on our side of the Pennines ( hopefully to not replace Salford). Also pleased for Mickey Higham who had a good game. But Huddersfield seemed to be lacking any spirit in the first half and left it too late in the second half. McGilvray would be a good signing...

Congratulations to Leigh RLFC on getting into Super League. Guaranteed to fill the majority of the West Stand when we play them at the HJ.
