My aspirations for next year, would be to stay off the bottom. Under the current coach, that would be an achievement. Much depends on recruitment.

Will we trouble the Dire? No.

I would hope for steady improvement and, by the end of the next licence period, a possible top 8 club. From then on, I’d expect us to be troubling the Dire.

I would also be hoping for an average attendance of 6,000 – 7,000 in our first season, with a steady increase. This would undoubtedly depend on team performance.

After all these years in Super League, you haven’t even looked like reaching a Grand Final. Two Challenge cups, after all these years, hardly makes the Dire a shining example. You are not in the top four SL clubs, imo.

You may call Widnes fans for going on about the WCC but, despite all this time you have spent in SL, you have yet to even qualify to play in it. Until you have won a GF and a WCC, there is very little difference between us.

For anyone in doubt believe me when I say this, by this time next year you'll know who your real derby opponents are.

About 15 years I think, since we were top of the top flight. How long has it taken YOU to get where you are now. Also the WCC team no longer exists, it went bust, you have a history of two and a half years.
