Fair point, his line breaking and willingness to offload would suit our current style of play.

I'd take a look if he became available, although he wouldn't be my personal choice, we are all allowed to have our preferences.

| We'll get relegated once Briers retires. How will we cope without him!?

Never.'"
He's been one of Saints best performers this season. He played excellent against Hull KR.

| My god - can't believe the arrogance of wire fans. What gives you the right to think that players will join you other than Moran's cheque book.
Tomkins, Eastmond all home grown why would they leave current clubs for other SL club? Wire - this may surprise you but there is a salary cap you know.
Who next - Lockear?
Stick to your own home grown - O'Brien, Goulding etc promote from within rather than trying to buy a trophy.

It's a growing problem that started with the rich football clubs fans and their dream team shopping lists and now filtering into rugby it would seem.
The only way Eastmond would come to Wire is 1st he had a massive fall out with the club and then 2nd IF that happened a richer Union club didn't come in for him and then 3rd Wigan didn't want him (i think he's a pie fan).
Likely hood of that is a 0.0000000001% chance of Eastmond signing for Wire.
Bosc would be a realistic shout IF he wanted to play in England more often than he does now.
Brown/Dobson maybe but i'd prefer a real talent coming through the ranks similar to how Eastmond/Tomkins/Myler.
Some of our fans are reminding me of Man City fans, loads of money and think we have more power than an obviously bigger and more successful neighbour, when the truth is, it will take at least 5 years of sustained success to [iconsistently [/iattract the real 'big' names of the game.

| I'm all for bringing youth through but with stand off & the type of player Myler is, I believe it vitally important to have an experienced number 6 for a few years before the likes of Goulding Jr & O'Brien are given a chance. Eastmond has Pryce alongside him at Saints (although Eastmond is such a good player he could play alongside me & still dominate games), and Tomkins has Leulai at Wigan.
If one of the fantasy signings of Eastmond/Pryce not available I can see Wire bringing an experienced NRL player over for 2012/2013 to continue Myler's development and complement his style as a support player not a game controller.

I couldn't agree anymore if you paid me to.

| i'd quite like Bosc over here, very similar to a young briers, good team playmaker and also good individually and off the cuff.

He's used to play Fullback, he's 26 so cover for fullback too.
I couldn't see him costing as much as say Brown or Dobson if he was contracted.
Won't happen though, just us arrogant Wire fans thinking we can but anyone at will
