Cant help liking his attitude, mainly because if i was him I'd be standing behind my biggest team mate shouting "hold me back"!

| Quote: Smiffy27 "I was impressed with Walker's part in the game. For a man who has had limited game time he took control nicely. He kicked the ball from dummy half at least half a dozen times and this gave us a bit of flexibility on our last plays and took the workload off Austin. Good from Price to leave him on.'"
Yeah he's not got a bad kicking game, something he has over clark, it changes the defences mindset when you've got a kicking threat on dh

I feel a but bad for Marshall, super nice guy, I dont feel he's going to be a head coach for the majority of his career, he seems to be an excellent assistant coach.
New team bedding in or not you would expect a competent defensive performance, some of the tries they conceded last night (bargeovers) were shocking

| It’s great we are league top scorers given our attack is often not been the best but 139 against is a worry.

Tough assessment that. Took Wigan all the way last week and we’re unlucky, and without the Mamo try on the stroke of half-time they were in the game.
I didn’t appreciate last night at the ground just who they had missing, but watching it back and seeing Joe Burgess, Sargonson, Brown in the stands, I looked at the squad list and Inu, Mossop, Ackers, Pauli Pauli, Addy and Greenwood all out as well. That is the bulk of their “better” players I would say.
They started poorly, and were never really going to win the game after that, but they stuck in there and caused us some problems. As I said, the Mamo breakaway killed their momentum, but the Lussick knock on for the Widdop try finished the game as a contest.

It's maybe just a by-product of playing a more expansive style. When you try to be more flamboyant, you sometimes make errors and that leads to points conceded. Ken Sio's try last night came as a result of us trying to be more creative with our kicking game close to the line, for example. It cost us a try last night, but will gain us plenty more in the long run. We've all been demanding a more attacking style, so we can't complain. Of course, there are also some occasions where it's just inexcusable rank bad defence - like Lussick's embarrassing stroll-in last night. That needs looking at.

| Salford were poor and we capitalized on their errors. Htey then shot themselves in the foot with the 2 sin binnings.
But credit where it's due. We capitalized on all of that.
A worry for me was the way we let them back into the contest at 18 nil up. Typical Warrington.
And Toby King still has a lot to work on in my view. He's got great confidence at the moment and played well in the main but the awful pass (to Currrie or Lineham) when we were 18-0 up when the inside ball to Widdop was the easier and better option makes me think he needs to make sure his feet are grounded and that he doesn't get carried away with the media hype about him .

| They're not robots, for heavens sake. So, he made the wrong pass last night. Lomax threw the ball into the crowd tonight.

I think its a fair point, he had 2 support runners, he chose the harder option in terms of being awkward to pass to

| To be fair he had just signed a new contract for (presumably) a lot more money, the lad was probably giddy (judging by his interview).

| Yeah, I don't disagree it was the wrong choice but players make wrong choices and mistakes in every match.

| I thought we saw good creativity with ball in hand, on both sides of the pitch. I'm with Captain H on the chase from Hill (and Charnley), who did his best and restricted Sio to the corner. Even though Livett kicked the goal and they got no reward in points terms for the effort, it's a commendable sign of good attitude.
Thought Walker had terrific 80 minutes, and liked the way he feigned going back inside to then switch and make yards on the short side. Quality of the opposition excepted, other than the first half against Huddersfield, were building up a bit of momentum and confidence.

Having seen the result, was it Cas that had left just 4 in for the game against Leeds.

| Quote: Captain Hook "Chris Hill deserves huge credit, that "track back" showed massive commitment. He has definitely upped his game this season and I wonder if that is down to being relieved of captaincy duties. Chapeau to him!'"
I honestly thought Hill was going to give up half way, but no he kept going.
Considering the size of him, he did really well and both me and my dad were just sat with our mouths wide open at the fact he did it.
Charnley as well did well, although I would expect a Winger to be able to make that sort of run but he came from iirc the opposite side and got close like Hill to restrict him to the corner.
