Chris Bridge is 26, Richie Myler is 21, Ben Westwood 29. OK, the other three who backed up are in their 30s, but Carvell only just (31) and anyone who wants to question the contributions to our team of Morley and Hodgson are just stupid.

As for yesterday's defeat, none of the above let the side down with Westwood and Carvell in particular very impressive. For me, the reasons for the defeat were as follows: Monas and Briers both had off-days; far too many daft errors across the team; Salford's defence was very good.

Friday's match probably had an impact in that we had to train all last week with 9 players missing, can't have helped preperation. But that's down to the success of our players and team - hardly a failing!

Just ban it, quite a simple solution in my eyes. At least some of the others display a small amout of rugby league knowledge . Odemwingie is actually becoming bearable, which worries me.

I really don't think it was excellent. I would put the core of our failings down to individuals wanting to win the game from their own plays. We had the posession and territory, but the choce, and execution of
kicking game was way off. I don't think there will be many more opportunities to say Briers, Monas and Hodgson all had a poor time with the boot. To top this off, Grix and Myler really did contribute with some God awful kicks, too.

With the weight of posession in the last twenty minutes, there was ample opportuity to build pressure. How many droputs did we force? Conversely Salford's kicking was excellent. In fact, I would say Salford gave us a lesson in wet weather rugby.
