This has being doing the rounds for a few weeks now but I can't understand this one. He is undoubtedly a great player (or was) and I'm sure if he has maintained his fitness he can still do a job, but surely we have a good selection of wingers already? King, Riley, Hicks, even Johnson? It would be very harsh to bring him in to replace Riley after the form he has been in. I'm sure Smith knows what he is doing but it does look like a funny call to me - unless there's more to the Hicks injury than the club are letting on. I will wait for Tony Smith's explanation if it turns out to be true!

Happy with the signing if true, seems to be one foe the dressing room atmosphere, if anybody has seen league of their own DVD, he is very prominent in the dressing room.

I have no problem signing him. He will probably be on a rolling week by week/game by game basis, so im sure if it doesn’t work both parties will be able to go their separate ways. Plus if we can get him fit and stay injury free i'm sure he will do fine, IMO
