| I agree definite change in the club, you have to admire ambition, whether we succeed is another question but it wont be from lack of trying. I had been feeling pretty despondent over the last few months how far the team seemed to have dropped off. However over the last few weeks with the better performances, news from the club, i am feeling alot more positive.

| I think maybe Draper has a kick ass approach to getting things moving in the right direction behind the scenes.

Signing a player like Sandow, and/or the others people are speculating about, is the work of many months, so you can bet that this has been going on maybe even before 2015 started. I've said it before, but some of short-term vision on this board, who were slagging off the club for not signing middle-of-the-road talent like Brown or Brough simply had it all wrong. Maybe its easier for the likes of me, who started watching the Wire in 1968 and have therefore endured many, many years with no success, but a little patience is wise. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s and beyond, if things were not right at Wire then, as a fan, you just had to accept that there was nowt the club could do about it. In the year 2015, we can be confident that the club has the resources to build a successful team. That will probably take longer than we'd like, but it will be done. Panic buys we do not need.

Technically it was months, but not sure about the many part. Warrington became interested in June when the Eels said he was free to leave after he criticised his coach.

Obviously I bow to the knowledge of a far more dedicated Wire fan than I am, but I suspect feelers were out well before then, not just to Sandow necessarily

| As been cut from the England squad, does that mean he will be coming back to league.

| Won't he be on megabucks anyway at Baarth with also the prospect of a longer shelf life by not coming back to RL ?

| I wonder where Eddie's (or the Sky production team) heard this "rumour"? Have they read this thread or is there more to it I wonder?!

| After watching our team being rolled over by a team who were bigger and more powerful than us across the park, can I just say how excited I am by the prospect of us signing one of the smallest lads in either code of rugby.
While we're at it, maybe we could pinch Burrow to play prop. He would surely make a better fist of it tha Asotasi.

He's on 225k with sponsorship deals on top, and England bonuses built in.

| He'd have to be the marquee player to fit him in surely, otherwise you'd be paying £0.5m of the salary cap on two players which would have a huge impact on squad depth.
He'd be a great signing for anyone he moved to. Looking at Warrington tonight supports what I've said for a while on here, the halfbacks aren't the real issue for Warrington. Your pack and particularly bench is weak and there isn't much in the outside backs to get excited about next season bar Lineham.

| Unless Eastmond can play prop, however talented a player he is, he'll be nothing else but a waste of money at Warrington... And I'll be damned to know why TS cannot feckin see it. We've been harping on about it for 2 years for Pete's sake.
