| It is a fair point to say both players got up straight away, but on another pitch on another day, someone won't get up & won't be able to play again. There is another 90% of the body that can be tackled to stop a player & it is those techniques that should be getting coached. Cynical & potentially dangerous head high tackles need to be outlawed full stop.

| One other thing that ed me off last night, kick chasers being interfered with, it was a ing joke. Just watching the first half, Marshall has just took Evans out with a blatant body check

| Most enjoyable game I've watched this year. I think the way the game was officiated was the main reason for this.
As for aggressive shots and wreckless tackles... Why didn't Warrington give some back. Thaler had set his standereds through the game. Warrington should have jumped on board.
Not fussed over the first two warm up games but this was enjoyable. Warrington will do well this season and this game won't hurt there confidence, only improve it.

| On the other foot, St Georges kick chase, and example to most in the SL, our kick chase is NRL like but plenty in SL look like they can't be bothered.

| Too right Yed.
The high bombs from GOB where not high enough, not allowing time for our players to create a presence and give their fb something to worry about.
At one of those bombs a only Wheeler tried to give chase. He is only half the size of their fb and wingers!
Every high bomb ought to be chased by ALL of our tallest players and some.

| At first sight the tackle on Penny looked like a red card. But after watching the replay the tackle hits him on the chest and comes up. What made it look worse was the St. George player had both feet off the ground so there was potential for the tackle to go wrong and maybe a sin binning would have been appropriate.
I though Laithwaite was outstanding and got through a lot of work for you.
Back to one of my favourite topics, I honestly believe that Wire lacked craft from dummy half and half back. Had Michael Monaghan and/or Lee Briers played you would have won that game.

| Ref had obviously been told to officiate the game as though it was a friendly (ie, keep your cards in your pocket) which was a real shame as it took credibility away from the occasion. Penny's was a straight red, which I could forgive Thaler for not seeing but what really got me was the holding down after a break in the second half. As soon as the penalty was awarded it has to be ten minutes, that is mandatory. Folks in the North Stand paid £40, presumably to see more than a friendly. Both teams certainly went at it in a fashion more than a friendly. So why was it refereed as a friendly?

If you don't think that was a red card it would be interesting to know what you think does deserve a red card, perhaps we should rewind a couple of years to a game at Huddersfield and Chris Bridge's contribution?

| I've seen less given a red and far worse ignored. That's RL. For all you having a winge, think of Briers punching Ablett in the back of the head, a true coward act, never in a million years should it have been just a pen. You win some you lose some. wire fans should be more concered with multiple knock on's at the play the ball.

| Best game I've seen in a good while. Thaler really let the game flow, only mistake was not showing a yellow or two. I thought Warrington gave it a good go and did Superleague proud. The main difference between the two teams was St George's half backs and their superior kicking game.

Disappointed in Darryl Clarke, despite him scoring a fabulous try in the Hull game he has been very very ordinary in the Salford and St George games.
His first decent scoot from dummy half came mid way through the second half.
Michael Monaghan would have ran at George Rose every second he was on the pitch.

| Agree with you biscuit, we looked far more dangerous with Higham on.

Higham came on and put the ball to ground on tackle one or two.
That put St G on the front foot. We're behind. Beaten.
I am totally opposite in my opinion who ought to be at 9.

I could be wrong but I thought it was the game at Bradford that was the 'issue'
Also Daryl has only played 4 games for us, only 2 of which really meant something.
He is class pure class.
