Monas will be the new assistant to Agar 3rd in line. I heard it was one of the main reasons Joel has not returned as he wanted to go if his Bro went home ?

This doesn't make sense. Seems to me that there are quite a few people 'hearing things' in the homeland at the moment.

| If Dec Patton is the real deal his age will be against him so the next investment at half back should be someone who can play and also bring Dec on. Having him play for the first team will make his old fella a very proud man indeed.

| Apparently Joel is absolutely useless domestically and makes Mickey do everything for him, so I'd be inclined to believe that.

If he's come up with any great predictions I'm willing to change my mind but at the moment I'm more inclined to get my transfer info from rubber duckie on here.'"
Yes, he's a credible journalist. He writes for Rugby League Week in Oz and has a big social media presence.
He's revealed (not predicted) some big signings too, and is pretty spot on most of the time.

Hes good with transfer dealings in Aus, but all of his info about SL is generally second hand and rehashed, hence his strike rate involving SL clubs isnt as good - though still better than most of the "journalists" over here...

| Quote: moving on... "Rather sign a halfback with a good few years in him. Mid 20's preferably.'"
Jack Edwards was 16 when he made his debut.
Bobby Greenough was 18 I think and they were one of the best half back combinations I have seen.
Alex Murphy was 16 or 17 as was Lee Briers.
I appreciate that these were players of precocious talent but, as the old adage says, If you're good enough you're old enough.
Unfortunately we don't seem to be producing such players these days. Or is instinctive talent being coached out?

| Shame on me, I forgot to mention the late great Parry Gordon who was 16 or 17 on his debut.

I think its his lack of interest in SL, he doesn't do his research as much hence the low success rate. But I agree that he's still more credible than the journalists over here and has good sources.

| In the back of my mind is the fact that the Club were planning on Lee playing for this season and then they would need to recruit a new HB. I am sure that the Club have had a new HB planned for the 2015 season for a while now.

If we sign Romelo then Trent is definitely on his way at the end of this season. The 2 of them don't get on.

| I love it when the Warrington Wolves Serious Rumour Squad are on the case. The 'inside information' and speculation are intriguing. Particularly as the club are so parsimonious with the information that they put out officially.
