Had two scallops from there before my bus home on Thursday night, walked past after the game but didn't pay any attention.
How have we gotten eight pages into a thread on fish and chips without mentioning the Crispy Cod on Knowsley Road?!

Also nearly £12 for 2 pie dinners is a bit too much.. The same dish cost around £7 in dragon city.
So overall, not bad.... But not great'"

Just had a poll in the office and we reckon the Mughli or Sangam (now called Lahore Karahi I think). Rusholme isn't what it was gone a bit expensive IMO
Off piste in the Northern Quarter Al Faisal, Kabana This and That and Yagdar are cafe type places reminiscent of what Rusholme was all about back in the day great for lunch.
If you can get to the centre Bollywood is my fav' on Liverpool St top end near Deansgate much better than Akbars again IMO
I understand it's about being handy due to work good luck... I wonder what I fancy for tea..... |

Now then... what do we call these peculiar delicacies of batter and potato. really they are potato fritters but surely it is 'scollops' as 'scallops' are a bivalve mollusc, very nice when they are pan-fried in garlic. |

Not used the curry mile in nearly a decade, but when I did, I used this "rule of thumb".
If I see a place that's got plenty of Asian customers in it, I'll use it.
If it's clientele is virtually all Anglo-Saxon, I'll avoid it.
Using this system, I've never been disappointed |
