| Overall not massively bothered. Maybe it's the little reminder that if we have an off day, in the play offs we are out. Hull very good for the win, no complaints from me about the Ref.
On the crowd considering the Barmy Army, are meant to loud and proud, I thought they were very quite today. I was expecting more from them.

| Quote: Horatio Yed "Higham catches the ball and we have a try
Riley doesn't knock on we have a try
Hodgson kicks goals instead we have a draw.
So Hull wanted it more?
Ballcocks they did, they got the rub of the game and won it fair and square but 'wanted it more'? Rubbish!'"
I think your opinion is ballocks and rubbish.
Just in the interests of balance and fairness. You'll understand that as a moderator.
I too would have liked to have seen the aggression and urgency for 80 minutes that we only saw for the last few.
Nobody can convince me otherwise that a win yesterday for Hull meant more than it did for Warrington.
2009 in reverse.

| It's an insult to the players to say 'Hull wanted it more'
Things didn't come off, mistakes were made but the effort was there. Hull played their hearts out but so did Wire.
Hull Try 1, a gift
Hull Try 2, poor defending
Hull Try 3, brilliant thinking to unlock the defense.
Hull always defend hard, nothing new there, they don't always win but they are good in defense, they didn't do anything different to what they are capable of.

| I'm with yed on this one , 2 stats led to our downfall 18 errors and 15 pens conceded , to be honest i'm surprised hull only managed to win by 4 , maybe we tried so hard to rectify our mistakes it led to such a close game

And even then, if we'd kicked our goals it would have been 16 all going into the last 10, or 12 nil up after 10... then again, if your aunt had cajones, she'd be your uncle so there's no point picking that scab. We didn't play well enough to win, end of. Now if they play like that in the play offs I won't be so forgiving...

Same could be said about your try's thought.
1st try poor defending
2nd great kick.
3rd stupid play from hull for the interception.
Must say, met a few Warrington fans after the game and were very gracious in defeat and very friendly.

Are you sure you conceded 15 Penalties, league express had it down as alot less than that and you won the penalty count.
I would also guess our error count was similar to yours.
Tough game which could have gone ever way, enjoyed the day and had great banter with our fans.
Good luck for the rest of the season.

| Absolutely gutted, I woke up at 1.30am hoping it had all been a dream, then all the pain came rushing back. It will be good to see Hull there though for hopefully a great final, I may still decide to go down but will probably put the £150 aside for the World Cup.
Can't win em all!

| I'm not getting into a measuring contest, i'm just debating against people saying Hull wanted it more, it's a nonsense statement, both teams played hard and gave their all, there was no extra effort by Hull because they were 'hungrier'.
It was even game with a couple of incidents going the way of one team more than the other.
3 tries a piece, how does that make Hull hungrier?

Would never happen, you'll always play second fiddle to the goons in the rivalry department. You have the mighty Widnes as your 'Derby'.
I actually wanted a Dire win because I would have fancied you to turn over the goons, cant see Hull managing it.

| The number of errors we made did for us, particularity on our 1st, 2nd or 3rd plays. As regards the Bridge kick I haven't seen the match back but from memory Bridge kicked it when we had a 2 on 1 against Lineham. If the ball had gone to either of our players it would have been a try and 14 - 0 up, it was a good idea poorly executed.
I am gutted & would have loved another Wembley appearance, the build up to the Saturday and the day itself is fantastic. After the game our players looked wiped out both mentally & physically, how we react to that defeat is now crucial and it is upon TS & the Coaching staff to pick the players up get them to dust themselves down refocus, get the win at Castleford & put all our energies into the run in and play off games.

Absolutely bob on. The players gave their all but it just didn't come off. If we had sneaked a win no one would be mentioning a lack of desire!

| I bought my 10 tickets for the final months ago but last week rang to find they were not on the Wires side of the ground, so got the seats changed. Can't say I'm sorry because I'm not sure I would enjoy sitting with Wigan fans even if we're not there. Am I right in suspecting that the majority of Warrington fans will be hoping for a Hull win?

Because your a better side and they had to work harder then Wire did to keep the opposition out?
Just a theory. I do actually think Hull looked more enthusiastic in defence but it comes back to them having to be because the Wire side is probably the best attacking side in the league. When you had the ball things just weren't dropping and it wasn't for the want of trying. The problem was the more errors you made the more frustrated you became.
It'll be a great learning experience for the play offs IMO.

| Not only do I agree with Horatio Yed but I think he has invented a new form of verse to rival the Japanese Haiku.
Quote: "Higham catches the ball and we have a try
Riley doesn't knock on we have a try
Hodgson kicks goals instead we have a draw.
So Hull wanted it more?'"
