dont know what all the fuss is about he clearly is trying to dislodge the ball with hand and wrist on a one on one tackle,not realising his elbow would end up at the top end of the chest.......

Don't they normally say when adjudging foul play, high tackles, look at u'd hand, has he balled the fist for maximum impact, bridge didn't on this. He had am open hand. Though it wouldn@ surprise me if he got 1 match

Wigan took decisive and prompt action against Tomkins for that elbow - by shuffling him off to Union 18 months later.

Having watched it back to me its clear that Bridge drops on a player who isn't tackled, does not use his elbow and hits below the shoulder.

What is the actual offence of which he is accused?

Still not seen this game yet, soon as i have it uploaded i can comment but what I've noticed is almost unanimous opinion that Bridge should have either walked or should be banned.

Bit different from other clubs and their blind loyalty or their Wenger didn't see it attitude.
