2009 way, 2010 Home and Away and 2011 Home were all great Wire shirts, just let down by poor replica versions!

The '09 Away should've been the home shirt by a mile.

The away one is growing on me now, probably because it's out of the ordinary for us! Will probably have that one for next year.

Anyway, these kits are great. I think most of the people criticizing haven't the faintest clue what they want.

I don't see what people are complaining about. There is a modern, yet good looking home shirt (incorp. Primrose and Blue) and a classic design for the away shirt that looks fooking marvelous.

If I can get the pennies together I will get both. If not it will be away again.

Some of you lot are really absurd. The kit looks great. Remember it could be pink with cum stains on the front.

I don't like either of them. I also don't care - they're only kits, for God's sake.

If you like one and want one, buy one. All a matter of personal taste but they certainly would not win any style awards.

Home shirt is OK but probably carry on wearing my 2004 one!

I have. Something like last year or 2010, NOT a mostly white kit like 05, 06 and 09 .

And a proper replica. That is all.

This should be the basic concept for every home kit. Those colours, that pattern. Alter the thickness of hoop/stripe, alter the shade of blue or the collar or whatever, but the design should stay the same.

I too know what I want, something that is instantly recognisable as a Warrington shirt. We don't have a recognisable brand that makes us stand out and I'm probably giving my age away a bit now but when my dad first took me to Wilderspool, shirts would either be primrose/blue hoops or all white with primrose/blue band and always white shorts with blue/yellow hooped socks, look at pictures from the forties, fifties and sixties and you'll always recognise clubs by their strips. It seems to me now that anything goes at Warrington, provided that whatever insane design is chosen incorporates white, blue and yellow for the home strip and whatever you fancy for an away kit. We don't appear to care for our history and I think it's a little sad that we don't.

Now don't get me started on squad numbers!!

If we are going the history route though then our new away kit should be our home kit.
I would just alternate every season between P&B hoops, P&B stripes and white with a P&B vee, everyone would have a rough idea what the kit would look like if we kept that pattern, i'd also like to keep our 'traditional' new away kit seeing as it is our original colours as a permanent away kit colour scheme of red and black stripes.

Lets face it, the more we see the new shrts the more we will like them. The more the team wins whilst wearing the new shirts the more we will like them. What we will never like is not getting proper replicas of the players shirts. The new home "fans" edition is basically a baggy t-shirt "fashion" item.

My view has been aired; however, I agree with this. I like both the kits this year and feel that they thoroughly represent Wire.

I apologize if i was premature in saying people don't know what they want but do you not think you are being a little close-minded?

I like that we aren't constrained to a white shirt with red v (If you remember a few years ago loads of sts fans were moaning the v wasn't deep enough) That is how constrained that shirt has become, or that we don't have people deciding on pink shirts with jizz blobs down the front. What we have are people designing unpredictable but well designed shirts; that always incorporate the spirit of Warrington with the primrose and blue colour scheme. And to top it off, this year we have a classic shirt with obvious nods to our heritage.

That Help For Heroes camouflage thing was possibly the ugliest sporting kit I have ever seen.
