Rubbish! Leeds expect high standards. At times the team was poor! Mac was the first to say some of the criticism was valid, the Leeds players unstained that, that's why sini said we were the best fans in the world! He was talking about people outside the club. Yes, King did get abuse, though not a huge amount, as it was deserved, due to his lack of effort. Let's not forget the words of Wire legend Mike Gregory in his autobiography, when he said (something along the lines of) Wire fans may not be used to winning much, but they want to see effort being put in. King obviously wasn't doing this, so A FEW abused him, and he flipped.

Leeds are GF winners (well done), we all agree. The system (though we all know how flawed it is) shows it.
The BEST team this season has been us, with the Worriers running us close. Virtually everyone in the game acknowledges this (even Worriers fans). HTH.

You couldnt be more wrong and its truly 100% like this. Ask the bulls, ask the saints, ask Leeds fans. For those of us who have finished top gone to the GF and lost, the hub cap is no consolation and means nowt! Wire didn't make it to wembely or the GF! TS won't be telling his troops don't worry you are the best team really, wire fell a few hurdels short. Not even at the final hurdle. That can't be denied.

Some people are struggling to understand the comp format as they dont like that Leeds won it or wire couldn't get the job done! Funny how clubs fans who have been there and understand arnt complaining.

Well, whilst I don't think he will be satisfied with the lack of pots getting dusted at the club right now, I think Smith will be more than happy with how the season went, and I don't think he'll be telling the team to do much differently in 2012 other than when we get to the playoffs, we need to learn the lesson from this year in terms of dealing with the pressure better.

The best team doesn't always win the competition, it's my belief that this is the case this year. This shouldn't detract from Leeds who are without question the most deserving winners, just in my opinion not the best team. It could be said that it enhances their achievement to have won the title when they are not the best side.

If somebody beats Barca in the CL this season, they'll be deserving winners of the competition, but Barcelona will still be the best side in Europe for me.

im sorry just read this through and i was hoping leeds would win last night and be crowned super league "champions" however looking in at this sgtwilko it seems like you have come on here to rub it in noses and picked up on the smallest little things twisted them round to suit what you want to think and so you can run off to your own board and go look at all these sour grapes were getting poor us they are trying to bellitle our acheivements however not one wire fan hasnt said congratulations you deserve it so i think you should take your wooden spoon and start stirring around elsewhere

as has previously been said no one has said you didnt deserve to win last night i think that most people dont agree with the format of the playoffs and believe there should be more recognition for league leaders which i myself have been saying for years no one dissagrees with the playoffs being there and the GF however i think what most people are trying to say is wire have been the most consistent team this year as wigan were last year and i think leeds the year before (i lose track) and these teams that finish top of the league after the weekly rounds and has been the most consistent should get some recognition for this rather than a hubcap that is passed gingerly to the captain of the team then brushed under the covers with the rest of the crap go back to before super league they had recognition for the league leaders then they had the premiership competition that was in my opinion the best way of doing it as the leaders got their rewards and the premiership winners got theirs so they were completely seperate so it would look in the records as

superleague champions - insert team finishing top
superleague premiers - insert winner of GF

just my opinion but have always wanted more recognition for finishing top since the inception of superleague.

it is not sour grapes we are just looking at what needs to be done to improve our wonderfull game as i am a rugby league fan first and wire fan second love the sport and love your team
