Quote: GIANT DAZ "most Giants fans consider Wire their favourite away trip due to the ease of getting there'"
I was thinking that myself. Warrington and Huddersfield are connected by a good rail link that means it only takes roughly an hour each way on the train and both grounds are an easy walk from the respective stations. This makes it easy to go on the train which is always the best way to travel to an away, and as there's none of the local rivalry we have with Saints, Wigan and Widnes, and I assume you have with the other West Yorkshire teams, it's just a good day out on the ale.
When you're on the train you're not just getting bussed in and out or having to worry about staying sober for the drive home, so you can enjoy a few bevvies in the pubs in town and by the ground, but without a rivalry you're less likely to encounter someone who's had one more than they can handle and started mouthing off.
I'm not into fan love ins personally (though that's not to say I had an issue with the Huddersfield banner on Friday - it did raise a smile I'll admit) but if there is a reason why Wire and Huddersfield fans get on okay I reckon it's Transpennine Express!
