| Don't worry Sian love. It's ok to know all about football.
To be honest, I don't know the first thing about ironing.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Quote: Robbie Rotten "Ray Hudson from Gol.tv is a cracking shout.
If I were Sky, I'd just move over the commentators and hosts from their Spanish football coverage. Don't know them by name, but there is the regular commentator and then some cockney fella who is somehow associated to Spanish football. They stick to talking about the game, barely stir and seem to understand modern concepts about football. Pretty much every knob pundit-ing on English football these days is borderline clueless. Whether it's Chiles, the Irish t[iit[/i off MOTD2 or whoever, they all come across as generally ignorant, gaining most of their 'material' from the red tops. Every now and then you get the good ex-pro, mainly foreign, that offer good analysis and understanding, but they are often too 'good' for the Sky target audience.'"
Rob Palmer is the main spanish play by play guy, and Mark Bolton is the presenter. Think the colour commentator is, as Mark says, Terry Gibson.
Unless you mean Graham Hunter, who is kind of a reporter so to speak. He lives in Spain and has quite a good knowledge of Spanish football. He's like Tim Vickery, who lives in Brazil I think.

All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.

In this extremely politically correct world we live in if you live by the sword you will certainly die by it too! I can't believe that Gray and Keyes were so niave!

All of them other than Graham should do the regular coverage of football. I don't really like Graham, as I said, I'd rather get Ray Hudson in there somewhere. A "Bernini sculpture" of a commentator.

| What's this country coming to, when pish like this is the second item on national news.
There's been plenty of sexist banter before when men/young lads work on production lines, highly populated by women.
It's about time the population of this once great country, grew a pair, and stopped being offended by the slightest remark.
I watched The Big Question yesterday (I know, I need to get out more) and they were debating this. What a load of "pooh". A couples of feminists, getting their knickers in a twist (oops) over nowt. IT HAPPENS BOTH WAYS. I bet there's enough sexist banter in many offices up and down the country, where fellas are on the receiving end.
FWIW tho, I'm glad the pair of them are gone. Gray, with his obvious bias to 2 certain North West teams who play in red, and Keys, with his "I know more than you" attitude/delivery to the camera. Can Sky please
make Redknapp & Merson walk the plank with them
I hope they promote Stelling (knowledgable, and with a personality)

Truw, but the problem that Sky had was that they had recieved complaints over the comments. If they fail to take any action then SKY will actually be breaking the law. After investigating and reviewing the position SKY deemed it necessary to take the action they took. Like everything, a law will be brought in with the best of intentions but if it is badly drafted then the "innocent banter and chitchat" gets labelled with the same legislation as pure bigotary and sexism etc.
People keep going on about Loose Women on ITV and their anti male comments. If ITV received a genuine complaint over the comments they would have to take some form of action just like SKY HAD to.

I'm not doubting your highlighted sentiments mikej, but DID someone actually complain, or, as Keys put it, are there dark forces at work to get rid of them, and the scenes were smuggled out to the general public, so everyone could be appalled.
As to your last comment, mikej, like I said in my text, people need to grow a pair, and stop getting upset over nowt.
p.s. Esther McVey was on that prog ........what a pity she has to open her gob....oh hush me and my sexist overtones
