Played pro am touch Rugby (when we had summer off season ) against plenty of, at the time still current players like Iestyn Harris, Marvin golden !! gary chambers and a leeds half back that proper dummy spat when we beat them, gary somebody i think curly black hair .....

Anyway Iestyn Harris denied me a match winning try by tagging me inches from the line and we drew 2-2 with Warrington, beat Leeds 2-1 and got beat by Rob Smyths Wigan we came 3rd eventually and each player won £27 ....big time...!!!

A few years back my family were in the Choy Hing Village chinese restaurant celebrating my mum's 75th birthday, I popped outside for a fresh air break and spotted Danny Lima in the launderette, me and my sister went inside and asked him to come say hello to my mum as she was a big fan of his. Headingley in Leeds is great for mixing with the high end celebs of the rugby league world.

I've seen Ali Lauititi in Somerfield in Headingley Arndale, Karl Pratt was in Bondi Beach club on a student night £10 in and all you can drink with a revolving dance floor, he was stood at the side eyeing up the students. Seen Semi Tadulala sat outside Starbucks on a sunny day. The beer garden at The Original Oak quite often has Rhinos players in it. The Skyrack sometimes has Garry Schofield when there's Super League on, with his hangers on agreeing with everything he says about the state of rugby league today with all these overseas players in. The Leeds players are often seen out and about but they don't seem to be drinking alcohol and they are well behaved.

Best spot of all however was when I was in Co Op on Cardigan Lane and saw a well dressed attractive woman with a muscular black guy with a shaved head. I thought he looked like a rugby player build so I wandered round the front to check him out. It was the Greatest British Rugby Player In History.
